I purchased the 2007, Kenworth T 600 from Papke Custom Trucks on 12-12-23. I paid $62,500 for the semi truck with a recent overhaul, new clutch, and new paint job, which was a fair price for the truck with those specs. I drove the truck home 450 miles and hooked to a trailer. The next morning when I started the truck, it started pushing antifreeze out of the overflow tube. I took the truck to the shop and they found the motor tested bad for a blown head gasket and assumed a cracked or warped head. I contacted **** Papke. **** told me he apologized for the troubles and agreed over the phone that if a ************* gasket is what it would needed he would be willing to pay $6500 towards that process which wouldve been half of the total cost of the fix, and I wouldve agreed to this. Once the shop tore into the motor, they found the head cracked, head gasket bad, all six cylinder sleeves were either cracked or had pin holes in them due to electrolysis, and coolant system ate up due to electrolysis. The total cost for this repair so far is going to be a minimum of $20,000 parts and labor up to $30,000 parts and labor granted theres no further problems with the motor found. I have reached out to **** countless times via phone calls, and I have texted him Pictures of what we found and a description of what we have found and have had no response. After researching him on the Internet I have found a couple other reviews with similar cases no I feel now I over paid $20-$30,000 for the truck since it was falsely advertised and now , I am going to have to spend $20-$30,000 to fix the problem that I should receive a settlement of some kind. The truck was purchased as is with no warranty, but I feel as if it was misadvertised, and then after he agreed to helping me on repairs, they were apparently false statements. I have records of all of the transactions, pictures of the original post, stating the overhaul, and records of all phone conversations.
