    Diamond **** has received a check for $2,500 to send us a gift certificate.The casino cashed the check two weeks ago, and we were told that we would be forwarded tracking numbers 10 days ago.Since then the casino never contacted us again or sent the gift certificates.

    Hi ****

     

    I am responding regarding the attached customer complaint.  My apologies for the delayed response, there are two Diamond ** Casinos (sister properties) in the ************* and you mailed the letter to Northwood, this incident was related to Diamond ** in ******* so it took some time for the information to get into our hands.

     

    I am disappointed this ever hit BBB as I worked directly with ******************* to get him exactly what he requested.  When I spoke with him last (whatever day that was), I indicated the gift certificate had been mailed via registered mail with insurance. I did indicate I would send the tracking number, but the package was expected to arrive the very next day.  I forgot to email the tracking number, but did not hear back from ******************* so I assumed he received the Gift Certificate and assumed all was well. 

     

    Obviously, ******************* didnt receive the envelope when it was expected to arrive though again he didnt contact me so I didnt track the package to see where it was.  ******************* jumped to the wrong conclusion and assumed the gift certificate was never sent.  He contacted our corporate office in addition to the BBB and was very angry and escalated about the situation.  I called him back immediately upon notification there was an issue.  ******************* indicated he received the package that same day, August 16th.

     

    The issue has been resolved.  The tracking number for the package I sent registered with insurance is **** **** **** **** **** 88.
