    I've held my tongue about ******* Northside Prolube for almost a month, but....we have had both of our vehicles in for oil changes in the last month and on both occasions the technician failed to reinstall the skid plate on the bottom of the engine. (They charge an extra $5 on an oil change if you have a skid plate, btw). The first time I discovered it on my way to an out of town meeting and had to return to ******* - about an hour out of my way. Fortunately, Prolube found the part, took it to their other store, and reattached it. The second time was this weekend. I saw the front skid plate on ********************* ***** 2021 ***** was hanging down, and on inspection saw the rear skid plate that covers the engine and drive train was missing. She took it to Prolube this morning and the manager said it probably fell off while ***** was driving because the bolts on *****s "rust out". They looked but couldn't find it - incidentally the same tech who changed my oil chimed in during the discussion to say "I always replace them"....uh, not so much. So, if you use this outfit - when they bring you your dipstick to show you your new oil and try to sell you a cabin air filter - please ask - "Did you reattach my skid plate?"
