Owner ******************* was to provide 2 Galvanized Gates (10Feet) , one post, and 6 feet of galvanized Chain-Link Fencing with top rail. Install was Sept 16, 2022. During install the installers painted the gates and fence with Krylon paint. Had difficulty aligning the fence with the standing fence. I called them back because the gates were twisting and the post was not straight. They tried to correct on Sept 19, 2022. During winter it was brought to my attention the fencing had barbs. Very dangerous, causing skin wounds. I began calling Eastern **** Fence in March. Along with the dangerous barbs on the fencing the gates are Rusting substantially. The owner did not return any of my multiple (20) calls and texts. I did get a text "The boss said he can do 60% of your money back for the materials because it had labor cost to go in and will have labor cost to come back out". I returned the text - becuase Easter **** Fence will not answer my calls - I said " I will return the 2 ********************* and the approx 6 ft of dangerous barbed fencing. I will expect 100 percent refund $805." I continue to call and text. Usually get an excuse **** is not there, I told you what he said, **** is too busy to call you. Try to call early in morning. It would be nice to be able to use my back yard with children and pets! I would like to return ( I will remove and haul back to him with my labor) his ***** barbed gates and barbed fencing for a refund of what I paid for this ongoing mess. I will let go the fact my original 33 year old ********** post that was in perfect shape next to the gates was damaged by his less than skilled installers with Krylon paint! Not to mention the ****** ripped hand from the barbed fencing. I am being more that fair and realistic. I return his poor-quality product and get my money back so I can start over with a simple project for a skilled contractor. Thank You.

We installed the fence on 9/16/2022. None of these "issues" were a problem at that time. We sent back workers on three different occasions, including the secretary to inspect the fence. We have never denied service to you or your fence. One of the times the installer said, it looked like someone had hit the gate with something so we fixed it. That was not a workmanship issue. We have gone above and beyond our warranty (Warranty is for workmanship). When I sent the secretary out to look at the fence she said the rust wiped off of the fence. So it looked like someone had spilled some ***** water or something on it. The metal was not rusting at that point. Also when you speak with my employees you are speaking with me. That is why I higher them. I cannot answer every call that comes in. I did agree to give her 60% of the amount back because we are a service company and we have never denied service. The fence is a galvanized dipped fence, we used part of a roll on your fence and the remaining on another fence. Those customers are not having any of these "issues" and they have the exact same thing and we install miles of this same style of fence each year. We have never had anyone come to  us with this problem before now. We will gladly pull the material and refund 60% of the $804.15 ($482.49 refunded). And the reason for this is we have paid employees on 3 different occasions to service/inspect this fence so we have spent money on; fuel, man hours, insurance and even if we take the fence out we cannot resell the material as it has been "used" for seven months.

    Respectfully,

    *******************-Owner

I am rejecting this response because: I read through the gibberish of a response. None of my concerns were acknowledged.  The facts and evidence show Eastern **** Fence was paid for two galvanized gates and approximately 70 inches of fencing with top rail.  During install the gates and fencing were spray painted with Krylon Hammered Silver spray paint.  I chose Galvanized fencing because it should not rust for at least  50 years. Painting it makes a maintenance issue forever.  The gates rusted over one season!  Day after install Easter **** Fence was called back because the gates did not align with existing fence and the gates were twisting. ******************* even stated it looked like they were hit. No - this is the product he installed! The fencing he installed has very dangerous barbs on it.  It can NOT remain in place. Adults, children and pets can NOT be near it. Huge liability. ******************* is aware of the danger and chooses to do nothing.  ******************* never offered to remove the dangerous fencing.   I will remove the dangerous fencing and gates and return them to him for a refund of what I paid. $ 805.

    Sincerely,

    *************************
