I had tires installed about 3 months ago and they wore out prematurely and was told that I had a warranty on them to which they told me to bring my vehicle in so they could check it out and they told me that I had around $350 in repairs that caused the damage to the tires. I do NOT believe that as my previous mechanic who installed a wheel bearing said my car was fine. I paid almost $300 for a set of new front tires and they wore out within 3 months and I feel I had gotten a defective set of tires as it does happen. I had gotten tires for ******* a year prior to going to fremont and those tires lasted way longer. If my car was in that bad of shape as they told me then why didn't they tell me when they installed the tires? Especially when my primary mechanic told me that there was NOTHING wrong. I only had the tires for 3 months....They told me I needed pretty much new front end work....now my car drives perfectly fine so I do NOT believe I need anything. I just want them to replace my tires as I feel I had gotten a defective set and I will be completely done with this company. I want nothing more than to just have my tires replaced as per my warranty and I will not be doing business with them again. 3 months is ridiculous when ******* lasted almost a year. I have itemized receipts as well as my original receipt. I am on social security disability and I cannot afford a bunch of un needed repairs to my car. I strongly believe my tires are defective and I just want a replacement.

The customer called the store and said his tires were wearing prematurely.  He asked if there was a warranty and was informed that there is a manufacturer warranty for defects on every tire we sell.  At that time, he was offered an appointment to check out the tires and find the cause of the premature wear.  Once the car was put on the hoist, we could see that there was a definite alignment issue.  The inside edges of the tires were worn into the steel belts.  We inspected the front end of the vehicle and found 3 components had a fair amount of "play."  This is an industry term for worn or loose parts.  We're not sure if this was the case 3 months ago when we put the tires on.  What we do know is this is the definite cause of the wear, not defective tires.  We certainly don't install new tires knowing a vehicle has front end issues just so it can return and have a situation like this arise.  As we started to explain the situation to the customer, he basically cut the conversation off by saying "so you're not giving me 2 free tires?"  We weren't allowed any time to even begin offering any type of concession.  We did say that it just doesn't work that way and he left.  The few times in our many years of business that this has happened, most customers are understanding that vehicles wear out, and eventually we offer the repair and the tires at a discounted rate.  We weren't allowed to even get to that point.  The car absolutely needed the parts we listed.  We do NOT sell parts that aren't needed.
