      My mother, *********************** 91, was in the hosp. for Hypokalemia, that is low potassium.We put her in Bickford Cottage, Assisted living, cost $7595. a month. They suggested I could get help Financially, from the VETs, if I pay $599. for the software. ( I asked Do I have a Choice?) Director was on the phone, calling & signing me up. I went straight to ***************** they said, they will help ********* FREE.First week her bed was drenched. Second week her bed was drenched.Bickford just discontinued her heart medicine. I moved her the 15th of November. They owed her $3900 for a refund of the remaining month. They said it would ***********-8 weeks. IT'S BEEN OVER 10. They charge $10, a day for late fee's. So I We're mad about 3 things, wet bed, them not keeping up on it, the software charge $599.& discontinuing meds. They owe us $3900. I'VE CALLED & JUST RECORDINGS, NO ANSWER.

      I am submitting this claim for *****************************. ****************** is a legally blind resident of ************ ************** in ************ ****. ****************** was informed the first week of May that the VA would no longer pay for his care, and he would need to move by June 1. *************************** with ****'s approval contacted Bickford Cottage Assisted Living in ************. Original quote was approximately $4500 a month. Bickford sent a representative to ************ to speak with ****************** on May 6, 2022. Representative met with ******* who is legally blind and had **** sign forms and give them a check for $4500. ****************** changed his mind last week of May and contacted Bickford. Bickford will not refund his money. ****************** needed to have a representative present as he cannot read what he is signing along with memory issues.
