On 12-6-2024, I purchased two tickets at the Orpheum Theatre, Sioux City, **, for the May 7, 2025 performance of "Ain't Too Proud.' On May 1, I was sent via email tickets for the May 6th performance. I was never contacted regarding the change. When I inquired about the reasons for the change, why I wasn't notified beforehand regarding the date change, and inquired about a refund, nothing from the Theatre. A website that doesn't provide that information, phone tree that goes in circles. There was not a live human to discuss this matter with. To satisfactorily resolve this matter, (1). I would like a refund for the cost of my tickets., (2) an explanation as to why I was not notified of the change beforehand. This is a bad way to do business. We were going to make a two day trip of it. Visiting parts of **** we've haven't seen. Now we are not doing that. We had to cancel a trip we were looking forward too. I appreciate any help in resolving this matter.***** *****

I purchased presale tickets for my aunt and myself to attend "The ***********************- The Laugh Continues" show to be held on May 2, 2024 at the Orpheum Theater. I was thrilled that seats in the Loge were available, as in my 50+ years of attending events at the Orpheum I had never sat there. I purchased ******* *** AA, seats ******* -order # **-43012/CH3. When we arrived for the show I was shocked to find that *** AA only had 3 seats. When I purchased the tickets it had 4. I asked a theater employee and was told a straight back chair sitting 4 ft. In front of our front row was my seat (704). I was so upset! Not only did I not get the seat I purchased, I also could not sit with my aunt and she had to sit with strangers. Intermission was only time we could converse. It ruined the whole show for us. The next few days my back was very sore from the awkward way I had to sit and twist my waist to see in the straight back chair. I never would have spent $200 for that seating arrangement. I was sold a ticket for a seat that did not exist. I contacted the Orpheum customer service the next day about the issue requesting a refund but heard nothing. I also sent a formal letter to the manager of the theater with no response. I absolutely feel I should be refunded for both tickets as I did not get what I paid for. ** In my enclosed seating chart for the Loge-L area- the seats I purchased were the top row (AA) which clearly shows 4 seats, ours being the 3rd and 4th from the right.
