    I am a soon to be former customer. We had Per Mar Security systems at our rental properties. One household declined to use the security system because it was too complex for them. When Per Mar switched from radios to internet, they replaced the system at our expense. Soon afterwards it didn't work because the tenant didn't have home internet service. I told Per Mar that we couldn't use the tenant's internet to run the system even if the tenants had internet, but Per Mar wouldn't listen. They continually called us about getting a tech out to repair the system because Per Mar wasn't getting a test signal. Months pass and I tell them this multiple times. Last week they called again. At this point in time we're selling this property. I tell them that and to put the system on standby just in case the tenants opt to move out before we get the house sold. Per Mar gives me a week, then calls back today, wanting to get in. I tell them "no". Then the rep. from Per Mar threatens me, telling me it's against code, they are going to have the fire marshall shut me down, it's illegal to have people there without their service operational, etc. It's a single family house, with working smoke detectors and working CO detectors. We've just been inspected for our certificate of occupancy (rental license) renewal. The only thing we were using the system for was for burglary notification in the first place because the property is in a challenging neighborhood crime-wise. The representative from Per Mar lied in so many ways it wasn't funny. I just happened to know better and gave him a few words regarding that. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS!!! I wish Floyd Security had never let Per Mar buy them out.
