    Business Response

Project was completed to client specifications, per client instructions.

No official contract was signed for this project.

Project start date was July 31, 2024. Client was made aware that I would be unavailable to work on the project for the month of August due to that being the busiest time of year for live production, and the client expressed agreement to this during our first session at the start of the project. Client requested to not work on the project without his band present. His band came in for a mix session at the beginning of September. After that we went through a few rounds of revisions over email and text, and then finally approved mixes to be sent off for mastering. Discussions around mix approval and sending tracks off for mastering was done via text message with the client's band. The masters were received back from my mastering partner within the last week and were officially released to the client on Friday the 11th of October. The mastering was paid for by one of the band members. The time spent on mix revisions on my end has not yet been billed to the client, either.

Per my company policies, all transactions are considered final.

This fanciful word salad fails to address the nature of my complaint at all.  My email of 9/29/24 requested that fully downloadable copies of our recordings be released to me, via band email ([email protected]) immediately.  The business owner never responded to that email and never sent me the .wav files.  The additional information about added mix times and mastering is totally totally irrelevant.  As soon as I receive copies of the unmastered songs (as they stood on 9/29/24, and in .wav format) I will mark this complaint as successfully resolved.
