I asked for a delay of pay for the month of January due to hardship, they checked to see if I would be approved and they told me that I was approved, and just needed to make a 30$ payment which I did. When I called in to make the payment that Veridian credit Union and I agreed on being delayed, they told me that I was behind in payment. *** tried to get a understanding from them to no avail, they only say that I never made a payment from 5 months ago, I challenge them by asking then how was I approved for a delay of pay when their policy doesnt allow you all to approve customers with a delinquent balance. We can confirm that the Delay a Pay you completed in January did get processed and a payment was skipped. We have bought a van 4/25/22. That day we contacted our insurance company to change insurance to the new vehicle. As shown in our policy, coverage began on 4/25/22. We have been receiving notifications from veridian that states that we do not have coverage and they are purchasing coverage on our behalf. Our insurance agent emailed them a copy proving our coverage and this has not resolved the issue. We are now being charged $122 each month by veridian. When we set up an account on my insurance info.com they already had our current insurance info showing that we had coverage of our own. But they continue to charge us. I have been on the phone for hours with their company to no resolve. I am asking that the company refund us the 4 months of coverage they purchased for us without our permission at $122/month and $60/hr for 7hrs equaling $420 for the time spent fixing this issue. If this issue is not resolved through the BBB I will be filling a suit and asking for restitution of time and legal fees.Business Response

We recently received the complaint you submitted about the ******************************* (CPI) added to a Veridian loan. We take your concerns seriously. We were unable to locate your name in our core system. We did find a loan under a different borrower with your last name and the address used in this complaint. Since you are not listed as a borrower on that loan, we are unable to provide you with information about the loan.
However, since we believe this is the loan you are referring to in your complaint, a Team Leader reached out to the borrower directly on 08-03-2022 to ensure all her concerns were heard. As of the date and time we submitted this response to the Better Business Bureau, we have not heard back from her. The Team Leader provided her contact information so the borrower has a direct contact to speak with regarding any concerns she may have.

I am rejecting this response because:I called the number listed in the response from *********************. It says the number is no longer in use. ****** and I are married and share legal joint status on all loans and debts. If we do not receive a statement showing the deductions from our loan we will be moving forward with a criminal complaint. We followed all the steps veridian asked of us only to illegally have money added to our loan without our permission. We have copies of emails showing communication from our insurance company to veridian. I have spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue with the worst costumer service possible. It is not moral or just that a company can openly steal money from you because of a fault on their behalf.

We have received your follow up feedback and are sorry you are not satisfied with our response. We have reviewed loan documents and can confirm you are not jointly obligated on the loan, therefore, we are still unable to discuss this with you unless the borrower gives us permission. If she would like to do so, we are happy to send her the form to sign.
Veridians Team Leader left the borrower a second message today, 08-05-2022, with her direct contact information so she can ensure everything is resolved with regard to the insurance on the loan and listen to any additional concerns she may have. We recommend she reach out as soon as possible to the phone number left on the message since this has been escalated to management.
We are sorry you reached a disconnected number. We attempted to find the message you had with **** but were unable to do so. If you would like to send us a copy of that message, we would be happy to research that interaction further.
We are committed to resolving the concerns outlined in this complaint and will be able to assist as soon as we speak to the loan borrower.

This is a formal complaint against VERIDIAN CU located in ********, **. This company has repeatedly violated my consumer rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and has caused me much unnecessary financial AND mental distress. For starters, they're reporting an erroneous & unverifiable account on my credit report and not to mention an account in which I've asked for proof of claim and in which they have not been able to provide, per the ***** Despite my efforts to resolve this unfortunate nightmare for several months now, VERIDIAN CU has completely ignored my communications and legal submissions to remove this inaccurate information from my credit report. I am well aware of the many, many other complaints filed against this company for their illegal and unethical business. Yet, somehow, this company is still in business. This company's unprofessional & negligent behavior has caused lots of serious harm, not only to my ability to establish credit & good interest rates, but also to my character as a Professional and as an individual. Please help me, and the many other consumers just like me, to put a stop to the operation of these unethical & immoral business practices immediately. I sincerely appreciate your time and assistance in this matter and hope to hear from you very soon. As previously stated, this credit reporting agency is reporting erroneous, derogatory information about me to which is killing my *************************** Professional image. They've refused to send any proof of their claim because they have none since this account has never even existed. We have reviewed the credit reporting of the loan you held with Veridian with Equifax, Experian and TransUnion and all three bureaus are reporting this loan accurately.
On 08-03-2022, we mailed you a letter with more specific details including signed loan and other legal documents. We deny your allegation that this loan never existed and have recorded calls with you discussing this loan as recently as May 2022.
