Issues with moisture on doors installed by the business. Original 2 guys that came out one guy on phone whole time the young kid did install and I think either did incorrect or they are defective. We bought one door years ago from them for back deck and never had any problem abd was same tpe door. Explained this ro them over and over. They came out twice replaced the bottom pieces still issues owner himself came to my house see issues said would contact mfg and I have made several calls no return call back about issue and we paid **** for 2 doors you can see at bottom in these pics where can see outside and pretty sure should not be able to. He agreed no moisture issue in my home. I beleive doors are the issue. Want issue rectified as been requesting over and over for call back and why this is happening?

First, I am sorry for the inconvenience & frustration that the homeowner has been dealing with regarding these storm doors.

In August of 2021 we installed (2) new ****** Screen-Away storm doors (146FV) on the front & back doors.  Both of them had **** glass and were the same door that we installed on the back door in 2013.  As she said we have been there and installed new bottom weather stripping, which she does not think did any good.  She had asked if the **** glass would have any bearing on the problem -- I have attached some information that I found on the internet regarding **** vs clear glass.

Condensation is caused by hot moist air coming in contact with something cold.

    Possible Causes:

--House door is leaking hot air in to the area between the doors & because the storm door is tight the hot air can not escape and hits the cold storm door causing condensation or ice to form on it. (Especially if the door is iced over  the first thing in the morning)

--The outside sunshine could be heating up the area between the doors & because the storm is tight the air can not escape & would cause the problem on the storm door.

--If the house door is open letting the sunshine in the house air which is warmer is in contact with the cold storm door.

Possible Remedies:  at No Charge to the homeowner

--We can change out the **** glass for clear IG glass to see if that solves the problem.

--We can replace the doors with clear glass storm doors.

--We can replace the **** glass doors with new **** doors (personally I don't think this will solve the problem).

    Thank You

    ****
