Around March 31st this business put a starter with a starter solenoid in my car. The starter solenoid part of the starter was malfunctioning, but they try to say it was something else so they wouldn't have to fix the broken part they put in. And charged me $223. To say it wasn't the part they put in, but it was. I had taken the part back out of my car. Had the business warranty, the starter with starter solenoid and give me a new one. I installed that and now the car runs fine. The $223.35. They charged me was diagnostic fees. To tell me it wasn't that part, they put in, but it was I should get A. Refund on the diagnostic fees since it was the part they put in this starter solenoid problem is mechanic 101 even the weakest of mechanics. KNow how to diagnose a starter solenoid. This business should not be serving the automotive community if they can't figure out something as simple as a starter solenoid issue.

Customer vehicle was towed in March 14th for no start...we diagnosed bad starter, had battery voltage on starter battery wire and voltage on small starter wire while trying to start. Customer approved replacing stater.  On March 31st vehicle was in for no start, this time there is no voltage to the small starter wire while trying to start, bypassed starter relay and starter works but engine does not start . Scanned codes and found code  U1200...CAN bus error...cleared codes reset computer and relearned ign security keys ...car starts....car starts next morning but still has code...diagnosed code as bad body controll module....customer does not want to fix it.  He will take car as is.... 4/29 customer called and asked for a new starter under warranty if they had it removed. I warrantied the stater with no issue... 5/23 customer called yelling and swearing demanding refunds....I would be happy to have a civil conversation with him...but not yelling and swearing....we have not seen the car since

I am rejecting this response because: i didn't yell or stream. I tried to talk it through with him. He hung up on me. I called back and let him know. We would go through the better business. Thrilling lawsuit, way instead.
Would love the opportunity to tell him what he did wrong? Because all good mechanics make stupid mistakes. And he made a stupid mistake.
The starter solenoid will not if the door does not open. Will not start car if you put power directly to starter. You do not have the signal from the key for the starter to kick out and start. You have to jump one post to the other. While cranking the key over the problem is he doesn't want to hear anything, but that he was right, he was wrong. It happens when he's ready to accept that. I'd be happy to explain to him what he was wrong about. I hope we can resolve this through talks. But not the way this guy acts
