*********************, independent agent with Goldfinch Financial Group and his partner showed up at my home as I was preparing to leave my garage. They parked in the driveway instead of the street. **** approached & introduced himself and apologized for not being dressed up. I was not expecting anyone, didn't recognize car without front license place and had not been invited. I asked who he was and why was he at my home. He handed me his business card and a copy of a form with my personal information on that appeared to be a legitimate Federal form regarding ********* As the actual form was mailed a couple months before I had information from SHIP ********* **** ************* informing me ******** would not send anything, call me and certainly not show up at your home. He asked if I needed a financial advisor and broker and I said no. He became confrontational when I said no and as I walked away, he said you will be needing a financial advisor in a threatening way. They would not leave the driveway so I could leave my residence even as I stood there waiting, so I went back to my car to get my phone to take a picture of vehicle and rear license plate. The driver proceeded to verbally bully and ****** me saying go ahead take a picture of the plates etc., and then I noticed they had another copy of my information in the vehicle which I asked for and was told no, they paid for it. The driver told me to leave and I responded absolutely not - this is my home. YOU need to leave now twice and he still did not move. He said go ahead call 911 I bet you do it all the time! They still made no attempt to back out the driveway and leave so I called 911 operator and explained the situation. She had an officer call me and I filed a report. The officer told me to call 911 again if they returned and suggested I file a report with the Better Business Bureau.

    *********************,

My name is ***********************, I am Co-Owner of Goldfinch Financial Group.  I would like to attempt to clear the air as I was the individual that approached Mrs. ***** house.  We received a lead from an outside vendor that we pay to solicit ******** business for us.  ************ uses **** to mail a form, Mrs. * chose to return the form and included requesting a comparison.  This form was mailed about two weeks earlier not "months."  It is common practice for us to call or email to set up a good ***************** appointment.  It is also common practice for us to knock on a prospects door and introduce ourselves and then set up a future appointment if we happen to be in the neighborhood.  I would like to think after being in this business for over 15 years that this actually works best.  As you can see, our business address is WDM.  On this particular day, we knew that we had appointments in the ****** area so we decided that since we were "in the neighborhood" running appointments that were already on the books that we would in fact stop and say "hi;" if the prospect is not home, we leave a professionally drafted letter to inform the prospect of our services and the benefits that we provide.  I knocked on the front door and was going to leave the info as no one answered.  As I was doing this, **** honked at me as Mrs. * was walking out the side door.  I then showed her the form that she filled out and attempted to give her a quick synopsis as to why we were there.  I did apologize for not wearing professional attire as we were out working with existing clients (I was wearing nice golf type attire).  I tried to tell her that I was not in fact **** and that I did not have my own business card with me.  At this point, Mrs. * went off on ME.  She told me that our services were not needed and that there is NO WAY that she would do business with someone that came unannounced.  As a seasoned pro, I mentioned to her that our services were "free" and that I can assure her that I would do my best for her and to please not pay to much for her ******** insurance.  At no time did I mention anything about anything financial as this would be very unprofessional in any situation.  This is a total fabrication.  She ripped up the form and ran to her car and I walked back to ****'s car to leave.  While she booked to her car in the garage in a rage, I mentioned to **** that I hope she isn't grabbing a gun!  She then charged us phone in hand (thankfully) to take pictures.  **** had papers in his lap looking for two other ****** leads and she approached the driver's window in a threatening manner to take pictures of his vehicle.  **** asked what she was doing and she said "taking pictures of your license plate."  So, we waited and complied so that she could in fact take pictures.  Once she was done, she started screaming for us to "GET THE **** OFF HER PROPERTY."  At this point, with papers in the lap of the driver, we could not just bolt out of there so she started to dial 911!  911?  In an attempt to calm the situation, we asked her what she was reporting; two door-to-door salespeople bringing her what she requested?  Furthermore, why would anyone ask HER to leave?  Common sense should tell ********** that this too is a fabrication.  We DID say "I'll bet you call the police all of the time" based off of how frenzied Mrs. * was.  This comment by us was a little rude but based on our treatment seemed warranted at the time.  As she was on the phone with 911, we packed up our papers and complied with her request.  No other attempts to communicate with Mrs. * have taken place.

Goldfinch FG has thousands of happy customers, we take pride in giving individualized services as brokers.

Feel free to reach out to me if any further correspondence is needed.
