    We tried Trader PHDs commodity advice service for a year and didnt see much value the advice given. I told them I didnt want to renew my account for year 2025. I was turned into a collection agency and forced to pay them for the 2025 service year, which I did not want. After some online investigation Im not the only one this has happened to. I have asked that my subscription for 2025 to be terminated again and nothing. I would like to get this resolved!! I would like a refund on at least 1/2 of my subscription.

    Dear BBB,


    We are writing in response to the complaint: ******** filed by ***** ****** regarding his subscription to Trader PhD LLC.


    ***** has been a subscriber of our service since 2021. He has renewed his service each year since 2021, and most recently renewed his membership on November 7, 2024, for a one-year term that remains active through November 6, 2025. As per our policy we do not auto-renew customers accounts and we must receive verbal confirmation to continue their service. On November 7, 2024, ***** agreed to continue the service with his add-on. We walked him through the next steps and when he should receive his invoice.


    On March 7, 2025, after several attempts to contact ***** regarding his overdue invoice, we were finally able to reach him. He stated that he was busy at the time and would return our call. However, we did not receive a follow-up from him.


    In April 2025, ***** had contacted our accounting team upset that he was sent to collections. We explained to him that we had tried to contact him multiple times about his overdue invoice from November, but we were unable to reach him. At that time, he communicated to us that he would like to cancel his subscription. We informed him that we do not have provisions for cancellation, and that his subscription would remain active for the duration of the term, as outlined in our Terms of Service, which are readily available to all members.


    As a longstanding subscriber, ***** is familiar with our policies, including the following cancellation clause:


    "Trader PhD (TPHD) has no provision for cancellation.When we start the Service with You, You agree to pay us for the agreed-upon amount, and we agree to provide Service for the agreed-upon Term. One is not conditional on the other, and we provide Service for the agreed-upon Term with the expectation that You will pay the agreed-upon amount."


    At Trader PhD, we always strive to put farmers first. If someone is facing financial challenges, were happy to work with them on a payment plan. However, were unable to offer refunds in cases where a customer simply changes their mind or chooses not to pay.

    Dear ****,
    We are writing in response to complaint #******** filed by ****** ****** regarding his subscription with Trader PhD LLC.
    ****** ****** has been a subscriber to Trader PhD since 2021. Mr. ****** attempted to cancel his service in 2021. At that time, we explained to him that we do not have provisions for cancellation. Once someone subscribes to a year of service, they are committed for that year but do not have to renew the following year. We worked things out, and ****** paid for his subscription. ****** renewed his service every year after that. We call each customer and verify if they want to renew or not. 
    ****** renewed his subscription to our service on May 30, 2024, purchasing a one-year membership that remains active through May 29, 2025. In August 2024, ****** contacted us to request a cancellation. At that time, we again explained that his subscription would remain active for the duration of the term, as outlined in our Terms of Service, which are readily available to all members.
    This is ******* fourth year of service with Trader PhD, so he is familiar with our policies, including the following cancellation clause:
    "Trader PhD (TPHD) has no provision for cancellation. When we start the Service with You, You agree to pay us for the agreed-upon amount, and we agree to provide Service for the agreed-upon Term. One is not conditional on the other, and we provide Service for the agreed-upon Term with the expectation that You will pay the agreed-upon amount."
    ****** has expressed dissatisfaction with the outcomes of our services. We want to take this opportunity to emphasize the following clause from our Terms of Service:
    **"Subscriber acknowledges that Trader PhD (TPHD) has not and cannot guarantee any outcome for any matters in which **** represents the Subscriber. While no guarantee of outcome has been made, TPHD will diligently and aggressively represent the Subscribers interests and will endeavor to perform superior service for our ****************************** services are opinions and for information purposes only. Markets and trading are inherently risky and are not suitable for everyone. Subscribers are responsible for their actions. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results."**
