    Amazing experience handled my procedure very professionally. I highly recommend LasikPlus to anyone interested in getting rid of their glasses or contacts.

    I would like to make a complaint about LASIK Plus in ***************, ****. I had went in for a consultation for possible LASIK procedure because I have heard great reviews from people saying that they went to LASIK and the LASIK procedure was the best thing they are did. Well I have to thoroughly disagree. My first consultation I was seen by someone who was not a doctor, and he did my entire exam from beginning to end, checking my eye health, my vision, my current prescription strength of my glasses and then proceed to tell me that I am likely not a candidate for the LASIK procedure but I would be better suited for the *** procedure. I was told then that they would send my exam results to the physician who would make that final decision. He did go ahead and explain the difference between *** and LASIK very minimally and informed me that my recovery would 3-5 days versus 24 hours with LASIK. Then I sat in the office and was told to watch a video about the *** procedure on a tablet, which was from like the 90's and showed how they do the procedure in the 90's. Things have changed quite drastically in the medical world from the 90's. I do work in healthcare and I am aware of how to treat patients and how not to. The day of my procedure I had to wait two hours for my procedure, then I was placed in room and received numbing drops and told my procedure would be in 10 min, I waited over 30 min with no one coming to check on me after administrating the numbing medication eye drops (what if I had had an allergic reaction?), then the doctor popped in and took in for my procedure and the doctor did not speak the entire procedure, I am completely conscious during this procedure and he did not explain to me what so ever what he was doing. So extremely disappointing. Next my first post operative appointment I had called in to reschedule and was told I could not because there was not physician in office, my first post op when I arrived, my exam was done via Telemed.
