    I am writing on behalf of my Mother. She called Wayne Rhiner plumbing on 10/25/2023 because she notified staining in the ceiling and suspected a water leak. Wayne Rhiner sent a technician who stated he felt there could be a leak in one of the two upstairs toilets. He replaced the wax rings in both toilets and charged $214. They next time the toilet in her bathroom was used, the next day, there was a significant amount of water that leaked through through the ceiling and caused additional damage to the ceiling, which now needs repair.Wayne Rhiner was called again and they sent a different technician who again replaced the wax ring. The toilet is now not functioning correctly, it does not flush properly, and cant be used. My Mother called Wayne Rhiner again to to let them know the toilet was not functioning properly. A third technician came to the house on 10/30/2023 and snaked the toilet. My Mother called Wayne Rhiner again that the next day, to report the toilet was still not functioning, and ask if there was any compensation or insurance to cover the additional damage to the ceiling. She spoke to a woman, ******. ****** told my Mother the toilet was clogged and denied there had been any water damage from the toilet. ****** used a loud and argumentative tone of voice, interrupting and threatening to let a judge decide.My Mother is 87 years old and now states she is afraid to contact Wayne Rhiner Plumbing again. She feels she no choice but to contact another company in order to have a functioning toilet close that enough to use.

    I am rejecting this response because:

     

    I am unsatisfied with the response from the business. The business owner interacted with me, a costumer, in an unprofessional manner and did not attempt to resolve the issue.

    The technician, ***, who snaked the toilet on 10/25/23 stated there would be no charge for the use of the auger.

    The business sent an invoice for this work on 11/26/2023, more than a month later and apparently in retaliation for my complaint.
