First contacted The Blower Shop almost a year ago - around April 2022. Wanted to purchase a manifold among other things.Placed order in May - but was advised that it would take approx. 16 weeks to make. I paid $7,054.00 US (I actually paid AUD $10,674 after the conversion) and this is not including shipping or import taxes etc. where I have paid $1,289.53 AUD (import taxes) and $1,675.00 US (shipping via ***** converting to AUD, I paid $2428.33) - total amount spent is $14,391.86 AUD The invoice number is: ***** The date on the invoice is: 11/3/22.The sales rep I was speaking with the entire time is ******************************When the manifold arrived, it was close to Christmas and it was very busy so I did not open the packages until after the holiday.I immediately noticed that on the top of the manifold (where the blower intake sits) that it was extremely uneven where the port holes are at - I spoke with several professionals here and they have all said the same thing - it is not able to be worked with - there is no 'meat' left to be able to port match.I contacted The Blower Shop - they say they do not see an issue. They said they would refund me the cost of the manifold only, minus 10% (the 10% deduction is because the manifold was part of a 'kit' and not purchased on it's own). They are refusing to pay for return shipping or taxes.Prior to the purchase, they did assure me in writing (email) that they double check everything that is sent internationally because I was worried as I cannot 'see' what I am purchasing until it arrives here.I have sent two emails and I have received no response. It has been a week since the last email and two weeks since the first email. In those emails, I have been requesting them to let me know what they want me to pack in the box - as I do not want to return something and for them to say there is a missing bolt or something like that.

The Blower Shop staff explained at time of purchase and at time of initial complaint that our manifolds come from a foundry as a raw casting.  As such, castings come with small imperfections.  We machine the surfaces in order to insure the blower and manifold will fit together properly.  Small imperfections will not affect the function of the blower and manifold.  I have attached a picture of both manifolds the customer chose to purchase.  The *** manifold is on the left and has small imperfections in the port that are circled in red.  We do not dispute there are small imperfections in the manifold.  *** agreed to allow the return of the manifold without a restocking fee, due to the fact that the customer was unhappy with our manifold.  We agreed to refund him the entire purchase cost that we charged him.  The customer received a 10% discount at time of purchase for purchasing the manifold in a kit, therefore we agreed to refund the $866.25 the customer was charged.  If we had found more than minor imperfections in the manifold, we would have done more, but that is not the case.  The customer only needs to properly box the manifold and send it back to receive the refund, as long as it is found to be unused and undamaged.rtunapleased with our offer.  Our offer stands, should the customer choose to return the manifold.
