    We made a reservation at this park and were asked to leave by the management after only one day, promising a refund. No refund has ever been sent, citing faults with their credit card system, unable to send a bank draft, will not write a check, and finally denying that we even paid them. Receipts for payment and an e-mail chain of their excuses are enclosed.

    To whom it may concern,I came in to now Riverside RV Park and talked to a lady in her late-40s and I told her that we submitted it over a week ago and she looked into getting us set up in a space. She said that it was $600 ($500 for rent and $100 for electricity) and $300 deposit. I agreed. She said that I would need to sign additional paperwork later. I figured that it was just a list of rules that we had to abide by just like all rv parks have and weve never had a problem in the past. The next encounter with the staff was the next day when they gave my wife a list of rules that we must sign and follow with the fines associated with violating them. They told her that they had cameras up and if we were to even go 1 mph over the speed limit that they would fine us $100 and ask us to leave.I looked over the rules once my wife got home and noticed so many things that could cause us to be fined (please refer to documents) and I said this is too risky they could literally kick us out at any moment and give us 24 hours to leave. So I went to the office and told them that I could not sign this rules agreement and requested a refund. A lady in her mid-60s came up and said *********! I commented on her lack of professionalism and she then said You know better! Another man chimed in and started yelling at me. Before I knew it three associates were yelling at me at a level that I havent experienced in years. They refused to refund my money. After yelling at me, they asked for my reason for wanting to leave. I told them I guess it really doesnt matter now and left. The lack of professionalism is unacceptable and the order of documents signed puts tenants on the hook if they dont agree to be fined and potentially evicted if they go 1 mph over the speed limit.Note: I did sign the application that does say no refunds, but the rules should have been provided before the payment was taken due to the extensive restrictions and penalties.

    As the business owner I have reviewed the complaint 21483514-607AE and have determined to provide a refund of the deposit and 1st month rent payment less two days rent at our regular daily rate. This refund was processed on April 4th, 2024, utilizing the original card that was presented for payment. This may take up to 3 business days to reflect in guests account. Should it not arrive in a timely manner I should be notified.


    We provide contracts that specify expectations of guests and their visitors.  These contracts address areas that are of concern in RV parks with pedestrians shared roadways.  Riverside also contends with dust during the dry season.  We have found that a 5 mile per hour speed limit serves all park guests well and is strictly enforced for the benefit of all guests. 


    As this transaction started,some concerns were viewed during the application process.  In the background information given on the application, made an indication that the male guest had responded Yes to the question whether they were on probation.  No indication of the reason for this answer and no crime had been indicated in the previous question.  This answer, correct or not,had raised a concern with the signed application and had delayed response.
    We will review our application and registration process to ensure that they continue to serve both the registering/registered guests and existing guests within the park.
