    This company has crooks working for them. I was tricked into signing a lease for equipment i never asked for the agent brought me the most expensive portable device they offered and didn't disclose. He felt bad so agreed to pay the monthly fee (I have multiple text messages from him about it) and now he claims it's out of his hands. Beware they lie and don't disclose your signing up for a 48 month contract with a 3rd party company.

    They are scam, fraud, they rented me 2 machines, as a rental machines with no contract,, but i figured later i am stuck with them for 5 years .. i never used those machines but paid 175 bucks for 60 months and never answered my call..!! Guys dont even listen there agents polite words they are evil trained with tacts and kindness..! ????????????

    Hello **********, thank you for your review. Your review, as well as recent abusive actions towards my staff is quite unfortunate. For anyone reading this, that ever has any concerns, we have receipts for our side of this. This gentleman, who owns a business in ******** called ***** Ds engaged with us for *** services and payment processing with our local agent there. He leased his devices, through third party finance company for 48 months, not 60. He also, performed a verbal verification with this finance company to agree to all the terms and conditions, which was recorded on a secure line. He then, wanted to open two new locations in **********. Because is this gentlemans behavior and lack of ability to act as decent person. We had to remove our agent from the account and have our technical supervisor, ***, work with him. He refused to purchase or pay for the equipment he ordered, AFTER the fact. So, because we flex *** to ********** to help him, decided to comp several thousand dollars worth of hardware/software as part of his grift. He then, continued to berate staff about almost everything or anything on a routine basis until just recently. He found another *** system, refuses to return our comped systems he got in ********** (aka he stole them) and now is throwing a fit because he doesnt bet his way. He does not have a contract with 253 Payment Pros, as we do not have contracts on ANY of our merchant accounts. He is unable to remove his own finance agreement and blaming us for it. Legal action will likely result towards this gentleman for not returning our devices we have him for free, as well as slander and defamation. Thanks **********, have a wonderful day.

    I signed up with 253 Payment Pros 3 years ago. I was set up with Clover and it worked well during the Pandemic since it was portable. Very pricey for the unit and it was leased. We recently closed our business and my agent from 253 Payment Pros was headed to a meeting every time I called him and he said he would return my call. Never happened. My continued question was how do I handle the Clover equipment (return) and his response was . . . you can probably just throw it away. So if I took his advise and threw this equipment away, I would have been locked into the monthly lease payment or pay for the equipment outright. I was told that this equipment costs $600+. Very disappointed in the service after the initial signup. I liked having the Clover equipment, because it kept us open because the Machine was portable. We were able to bring the Card Machine to the vehicles and keep our customers safe during COVID. If you are looking for good customer service, I would advise you to look to a different company.
