      I ordered Freshpass through Safeway and after four months started to have issues. I had deliveries missing items, culminating in three bags of food not delivered with an order. Called Freshpass and they said to call the store. The manager was able to get a red livery to me and it was still missing items. So i asked for a credit for the non-received items.On March 8, 2025, I ordered groceries for delivery between 8-9am. Saw that the order was put together but no delivery as of 10am. Called the store and they did not know what Freshpass was nor how to get my order to me. Ended up going to the store to pick up my items and asked to be refunded the delivery tip since I picked it up. They were unable to do it, and gave me the customer service line. Called this number and discovered they are located in the *********** and could not help me with a refund. They had me call the Freshpass VIP phone which I discovered is also located in the ***********. They said they could not process a refund because my order was still open by the store. After I told them that is something they should do to correct the open ticket order, they said they would call me back in 24 hours with an update. They cancelled my Freshpass and said they would follow up if a refund for the 8 unused months was possible.After 4 days of no calls, I called them back and they said they tried to call me but I hadnt answered. I shared that I have voice mail that was empty and no messages were recorded or calls received. They refunded me the driver tip but said they could only cancel the Freshpass, and could not refund me the 8 unused months because I had used it at least once. Moral of the story: Even if they fail to deliver it is on the customer to lose the money. The store employees dont know about *********, and it is an outsourced 3rd party vendor with out of country support phone line. Shame on you Safeway for this subpar service and product.
