      07/08 paid $150 brought my hearing aid in and they had to send it to the factory for an adjustment and tune up. It took a little bit over 5 weeks to get them adjusted and for me to get my hearing aids back. The day of receiving them they worked alright, but after placing them on the charger and taking them off again the adjustment was off by a large margin, being multitudes of levels too loud. Tried to cope with it for 2 weeks before going in and telling them that they had messed up the adjustment and that I would have to tune down the ears ***** clicks to get it to where it should have been, where it should have been at most 1 or 2 from baseline. Called them and told them it wasn't adjusted right, told me I would have to set up an appointment and told me that "It didn't matter if they did a good job or bad job, they would have to charge another $150" Issue being They had already been paid $150 to fix the hearing aids, and they were not fixed from the first charging, indicating that they hadn't been properly adjusted from baseline. I then went in there the day after the phone call to talk to them face to face, and they didn't like me complaining and asked me to leave and never come back despite scamming me for $150 for a job they didn't do right.

      In May of last year I went to the hearing connection in ***** falls for the 30-day money-back guarantee I financed $5,000 of hearing aids and I got hearing aids that only lasted 3 days when I took him back within the 30 days he told me that it was too late and that I would have to take them they didn't even work right they weren't even like the ones that I had originally tested a couple of months before they weren't clear as they were and I was treated very impersonal he told me for the all-in-one was going to be the same price even though it was less in his store when we first checked so I was going to have to pay the $5,000 plus more money to him I was on a fixed income he stuck me with hearing aids that broke after 3 days they were scratchy and they didn't even sound like the first pair that I tried he called me months later as a resolution and told me that he had the hearing aids fixed I told him I didn't want him to begin with because they were so far and it wasn't the product that I felt that he had shown me before he kept this up and kept me financed I want resolution I never did gethe acts as if he's a doctor and he's not he's an audiologist which is not a doctor I found this out after some research I also found out I could get the product with the same care actually better care to be honest and I would have paid less so in all honesty he is a shyster

      On Friday September 15,2023, I had an appointment with ****** at 10;00 AM at Hearing Connection on ******* in ********* **. The ********************** test showed that I needed hearing aids. ****** told me that the hearting aids that she tried on me were a special price for $******* until the 19th. I explained to her that I lived only on my Social Security and that I didn't have that kind of money even if I could finance. I'm already going to the food Pantries for food. So I tole her that I would check with my daughter to see if she could afford them for me. I checked and she couldn't. On Monday September 18, 2023 I received a text from Hearing Connection saying that ****** asked them to reach out to me regarding my risk free 30- ********* of the hearing aids. I texted back and also called and said I was interested as long as it didn't cost me any money. I received a call back from the receptionist and she said she scheduled me for an appointment on Tuesday for 2:45PM. I asked her at that time if she could tell me what this was about since I didn't have any money. She said ****** would discuss it with me. I should up for the appointment with ****** and we discussed the advertisement through the text . She said that what it was I would receive the hearing aids but I had to pay the $5,000.00 up front. Then within the 30days if I didn't like them I could return them and they would reimburse me the ******* minus 25% (********). That's a lot of money for something that is risk free. I talked to her about false advertising. She said well that's what corporations do. I guess ******* old people out of money they don't have. I spent 2 hours of my day preparing for the appointment driving back and forth from the office and for what. a definite waste of time. While the receptionist and ****** were always polite, that didn't make up for the run around and inconvenience that I experienced.

      Dates of problem: 2020-2022. Solicitations by mail are sent to my home address several times monthly. I do not know how this company got my name nor why they think I need/want hearing aids. If I did, this company would be the last place I would consider given their shoddy business practices. I have called their office, sent them ******** messages, and refused and returned their mail - all to no avail. I do not want to receive their annoying solicitations and I consider their continual, unrelenting attempts at contact harassment. I have asked this company to remove my name from their mailing lists, and they simply refuse to comply. I want Hearing Connection to stop harassing me. I would never use their service and I would recommend them to no one.
