I was contacted by *******, from Idaho Interlock. She was very rude and harassing. She threatened to file grand theft charges against me, if I could not provide a police report, that my car was stolen, because it had their interlock device inside that was stolen, along with my car. I immediately sent her an email with the police report. When I expressed that I could not pay $1700, for a brand new interlock device, she became aggressive and rude. I told her I would pay the used value, of what it would cost to replace. I'm not paying for a brand new 2024 ******* device. I can find them used on **** for $200. She threatened to take me to court at that point. I told her, I don't think you are allowed to threaten me, while trying to collect a debt. I repeatedly asked her what the make, year, and model, of the device was, so that I could determine a fair price, that I would be willing to pay. She denied this request multiple times. They cannot price *****, and overcharge for a 20 year, old, used, product. Can you please help me? I feel threatened, and harassed. Thank you, *** *******

Per the contract client was offered insurance on devices in which she declined and signed a form stating that. I have included the full contract along with screenshots of our entire conversation, not just pieces that were sent over by the client. Per signed document the client agreed to the pricing of replacement equipment so there is no price gouging it was signed at installation of interlock. Please call me if you have any further questions. My name is ******* ************. Also I request a follow-up review on this complaint

I was unable to locate a spot to input an explanation, to my rejection to the business response. I am rejecting the business response, as they still will not provide the make, year, and model of the device that they are claiming I owe them money for. They are trying to make me pay for a brand new device, that was used when I first leased it. It could be 20 years old, for all I know. I am trying to work out a fair price for the device. I am unwilling to pay for a brand new device, because it was used when I first got it. I can find them on **** for $200, and they are trying to charge me $1700, for a brand new one. I would like to come to a fair price to pay them the value of the one that got stolen out of my car. I am not trying to be unreasonable. I will pay what that used device is actually worth, or half the price of a brand new one. I would appreciate them providing the year, make, and model, so we can determine a fair price to both parties. I would also like to communicate to them that they are not supposed to threaten legal action, while trying to collect a debt. That is unfair collection practices. My ultimate question, is besides paying full price, what would they deem a fair price, so that we can work this out. Thank you,  ***** Gibbens
