Import engine supply rebuilt a head on an engine for me about 2 weeks ago. They insisted i pay them the $3500.00 in cash only. They wouldn't accept any other form of payment. When i picked the car up they said it was good to go. I drove about 5 miles and the car started to overheat. I then shut it off let it cool down and drive it the rest of the way home. I called them to tell them about the problem the next business day that someone would be there. And they proceeded to tell me it was my fault i shouldn't have drove it home i should have called them. But they were closed. I took the car back to them the first opportunity i had because i had to have towed there. And they still say its my fault. That the engine probably has cracked block and that's not part of their warranty but when i called them they said the warranty is on the receipt and then they said there is no warranty on it. But if they had the head off the car they would have known if the head was cracked. And now they want more money to fix what they did.

The Customer did bring the car in the shop. We do except multi forms of payments we do charge a fee on credit card transactions advised the customer we also do check and cash.  The customer brought in the car because of blown head gasket. We serviced the heads and replaced them  Installed a water pump. When the Customer left with the car he left at a high speed. When customer brought the Car back we advised him that if it not a problem on our end he would have to pay. As our warranty is limited. A warranty indicator called a heat tab that is a automotive industry showed the car had over heated at extreme high temperature. We notice that his block may been damaged from his continues high speed use of the car. Our warranty indicates that only covers parts. And the damage done now is clearly not a result of work preformed by ** but may be the result of improper use of the car.
