    Complaint AAA Action Paint (8 October 2022 thru October 18 2022)I have been recently scammed and have been wrongly taken advantage of because of my age and medical disabilities by AAA Action Painting, specifically by *********************** (employee) and ***************************** (Supervisor). I am 70 years old and a Disabled American ******* Veteran. I have several medical disabilities. Apparently, I made a very bad decision of hiring this company to repair the exterior stucco and paint a house. I put my trust in them! They did not perform like professionals and did substandard work. They failed to rectify the workmanship and lack of response concerning the problems and issues that I brought up to them. As a result, I stopped their association with me and the project for the reasons in the following paragraphs. The total project cost was $2,500.00. They demanded a deposit of 50% ($1,250.00) (Invoice # *****). Like a fool on my part, I trusted them, and immediately gave it to them by personal check! They quickly cashed the check in less than 2 hours after I gave it to them. I should have suspected then that something was not right! Because I had to stop them, I had to hire a different company at a significant higher cost. Also, because they did not perform in a timely manner the weather has turned bad, causing another delay in accomplishing the work. Resolution: Since *********************** and ***************************** are being difficult and unreasonable, they have failed to return the $1,250.00 deposit (50% of the total cost!). I want and need my money back; that is why I am filing this complaint. I am entitled to get my money because they clearly have taken advantage of me and failed to perform satisfactorily.
