      8/2/2024 start of job 10/3/2024 end of job Interior paint cracking and chiping The claimed they used superpaint interior latex and that they did 2 coats. I spoke to the paint supplier from ******* ******** and this is not the paint I received. The paint is suppose to be cleanable satin finish the finish is not able to be cleaned without causing the paint to rub off. The trim was to be painted in a semi gloss all the surfaces of the walls and trim have the same sheen of paint. I signed a contract that said I have a two year warranty for two coats of fresh coat supplied paint. I'm not able to get a hold of the buisness owner ***** ****** or anyone in the office due to all the phone numbers provided for the business being disconnected.

      Dear BBB and Ms. ************************ and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this situation has caused. I am truly sorry to hear about the issues youve experienced with your interior paint project, and I understand how disappointing it must be to feel that expectations were not metespecially regarding the paint quality and the finish.


      To clarify, Fresh Coat Painters of Boise did provide a 6-month labor warranty, which has unfortunately since expired. Additionally, the paint used on your project was purchased through *******-********, which offers its own 2-year product warranty on select paint lines, including SuperPaint. I would encourage you to reach out to your local *******-******** representative directly regarding any concerns with the paints durability or finishespecially if you believe the wrong product was supplied or applied. They can often assist in determining product issues and potential remedies under their manufacturer warranty.


      Regrettably, due to unforeseen health circumstances, Fresh Coat Painters of Boise has ceased operations and formally entered bankruptcy dissolution. As a result, we are no longer in business and are unable to continue servicing warranties or offer additional repairs.


      I deeply regret that this has left you without a clear path to resolution through the original provider. However, I hope that *******-******** may still be able to support you under their warranty terms.


      Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I truly wish circumstances were different, and again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

      The response from Fresh Coat paint is not acceptable. This is not the paint manufactures responsibility as the paint was not applied correctly from Fresh Coat. My contract states that Fresh Coat was to apply two coats of paint, spray and back roll . The painter did not back roll the spray. My contract also states that I have a two year warranty not 6 months as the owner from Fresh Coat stated in his response. The owner is still advertising online as if he was still in business. This is a misrepresentation of this character and business. I feel due to the poor service, breach of contract and not honoring the signed contract. I should be fully refunded for the interior paint cost.
