Justin Brown from Justin Time Painting came to our me did a walk through and provided us a bid to paint the exterior of our home on Friday Feb 25 2024 at 4pm.He contacted me on Tuesday March 26, 2024 and told me due to a blood clot he could not paint the house but would refer us to other painters to do the job. They showed up and bid us twice as much as the original bid. This is a true bait and switch, he dishonest!

    Business Response

    Date: 04/16/2024

Every thing *** described in his complaint is true. I bid on a project for *** and agreed to help him and fit him into my extremely tight schedule. No contract or paper work was signed.

After I bid on his project I suffered a ladder fall and bad case of pneumonia. Shortly after that I was diagnosed with blood clots in my leg and was told I needed surgery

With one month of advance I gave *** notice that I was suspending all jobs and  I was getting local contractors to help with my clients.  The bid that he received was over priced in his opinion.  I contacted another painter and they booked a date to have another estimate. He then canceled that as he found a estimate he felt was fair.

After all 8 of my jobs were covered with other contractors my wife and I decided it was best if I did not continue my painting and move on to something else. *** felt that it was a giant plan to take advantage of him unfortunately.

After 7 years and 350 clients I have had disagreements with two clients. *** being one of them.  The other 7 clients I had contractors fill in for me went smoothly and my clients were extremely happy that even though I was not doing well personally I continued to look after them.

I am sorry that *** feels I am dishonest how ever my reputation in ***** over the last 7 years would definitely say otherwise. I wish him nothing than the best
