      So Saturday march 15th was my son's 12th birthday so I went to vista pawn and purchased a set of walkie talkies "Midland 2 way radio GXT pro" for $42.40 they were still in the package as if they were new,I got them home gave them to my son for his birthday and we got home the direction said 1st time charge for 24 hrs then after that it would be 12 hrs after that for each charge it was Saturday the 15th at 4:30 p.m when we started to charge them until Sunday the 16th at 4:30 p.m the one walkie talkie did not charge so with them closing early on Sunday at 5 ******* p.m I had to wait to see if they even worked so by the time I knew the one would not keep charge it was to late to bring them back so I had to do it today Monday march 17th after I got off work the guy at counter said that I only had 24hrs to bring an item back so if I knew that in 1st place I would of not chanced it and payed for them but he said just this time I will give you store credit of $42.40 so now my son doesn't get his birthday present and I have store credit and sorry to say this but it's kinda hard to find something when most items are over $42.40 i just thought I got a good deal for my son but I really just want my money back i do not want store credit and I want to get my money back to buy my son something else for his birthday I know it wasn't his only present but it was just the fact I payed cash for it and it didn't work and now I just want my money back. To purchase something else for him by the time I go to all the **** shops waste gas just to search for something for him it's gonna take a long time not worth the hassle or gas ,to me store credit is kinda a scam, away to keep a person to buy something from you when after buying something that don't work and having apparently 24 hrs to even know if it works or not to be able to return it only way a person would most likely know that is after buying something it's on the receipt printed real small.
