04/02/24 I was charged for a boot that was placed on my car while parked in a disability parking place with my disability placard on my dashboard. The owner came out to take the boot off and I explained to him he legally can not do that. He stated that my residential placard was not on display and that gives him means to boot my car. After speaking to an officer he has federally violated my rights as a disability placard holder. On 04/03/24 I woke up to another note on my car stating I did not have my disability placard or residential placard on display and I clearly did on my dashboard again and stated this is a warning and will boot my car next time. I contacted the owner again and told him it was on display and that he needs to address the issue with his employees I told him I would contact the police and he stated, " I'm doing you a curtesy by giving you a warning and stated he will have them boot it next time." I contacted police and they advised me to contact you (BBB) and (DOT) for violations of my rights. They explained I need to exhaust my options before I can file harassments charges.
