    Transaction occurred last July-September 2022. I hired **** for a large sprinkler job and grass removal with rock replacement. It took him months to accomplish the job, come back for repairs and I was ultimately not happy with his grass removal and rock replacement. It was not completed as stated in the contract, he refused to fix the problem, said he would spray the weeds weekly if need be which he hasnt made a priority this summer. He lacks common knowledge in sprinkler work, rock work more does he work based on code or when Im available. He does what he chooses to do, not whats based on the contract. I cannot get this contractor to come back and rectify the rock work he has done. I have been trying since September 15, 2022. I have asked him to pay me what I paid for the rocks so I can hire a competent landscaper. ~$2800.

    ************************* hire me last year on June 21 to do the New installation of sprinklers back and front yard and add water to two planters, I did install a new water filter new **** valve shut off and air connector as well, two ******* hose connection,
    Then she start talking about some gravel installation in the outside of her property, then she starts talking about some gravel installation in the outside of her property, that particular area where she wants to gravel is city property, I told her that we need to talk to the city to see if they allow us to do it, and she told me **** dont worry, lets get it done,
    I have charged her for a total of work$9723.00
    Gravel material $680.00
    Weed protection $350.00
    Remove 2 of dirt$300,00
    Rental equipment is $250.00
    Labor cost to do this gravel install 10 hours 
    @ ***** per hour =****** so the total for just gravel installation is $2230.00
    The other part of the estimate was for materials and 40 hours of labor, so the total for just sprinklers
    Is $7493.00

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The gravel was up front in the initial quote for sprinklers and gravel work. Yes, the city owns the area but as a homeowner I am to maintain it how I see fit and this was never a conversation between **** and I. I have multiple quotes from other companies to prove this was part of the initial sprinkler job. It was also part of Nicks initial sprinkler quote. It was not an added on job as stated in Nicks response. The problem that needs to be addressed is this business owner did not perform the job as stated in the contract and did not complete the job properly. He is not willing to complete the job within his 1 year time ***** as stated in his website. He says he will complete the job October 2, 2023 but as seen in all communication provided, he does not hold to his word so I am requesting a refund for the rocks in order to pay someone to do the job properly.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is acceptable IF the job is done properly and without arguments on Nicks part. If the job is not started by October 2nd and completed in a timely fashion unlike previous work, I will move forward with a court claim and contacting his licensing board.
