    DISHONEST! I spoke with ***** and hired him to clean up some trees and remove limbs at one of our properties. Everything went smoothly until I received the invoice. To my surprise, ***** had tacked on an additional $100 dumping fee, and this was done without any prior discussion. As if this wasn't unprofessional enough, he then demanded payment exclusively via Venmo, an app that didn't align with our standard business protocols. However, in order to maintain a good relationship, I agreed.When I attempted to the payment via Venmo, the app kept glitching and informed me that the payment didn't go through. To ensure ***** received payment, I attempted the transaction a few times. Later on, I realized that the payment had been sent twice - which ***** clearly knew but failed to mention anything. Rather, ***** cashed out all of it and when confronted, informed me that he needed to complete a few jobs first in order to have the money to pay back the significant overpayment.Weeks later and after numerous reminders and empty promises, ***** returned only half of the overpayment. I have reached out since and have yet to receive a response.The entire ordeal gave me clear insight into *****'s character, who chose to withhold information and exploit a situation for personal gain. It's clear that honesty and integrity are not values ***** upholds. I will not use ***** again and strongly advise caution if considering doing business with him or his company.
