      On 6/11/2024 I purchased a complete guaranteed running engine from Jalopy Jungle in Nampas showroom with an included 60 day warranty for $2,000 + tax ($2,280.34). While preparing the engine and after removing from their pallet stand I found many broken parts which they refused to compensate me for, and I ended up replacing myself. Following that I paid a shop $1,700 to install this engine and as we added coolant it went straight into the oil, indicating the engine had a cracked block or some major internal failure resulting in the engine being scrap. I paid the shop an additional $800 to remove this scrap engine and returned it complete and with valuable oem replaced parts on 7/26/2024 with the promise from ************** would get a refund but only the person above ****** in hierarchy could fulfill it. It is my belief that they knew this engine had internal damage which is why they tried to persuade me to void the warranty multiple times - for example they; said they could sell it for $500 less but they wouldnt offer the warranty (I refused and paid full price), when I brought them the broken parts they offered me a reimbursement of $300 but it would void my warranty (I refused this as well). They also gave me multiple excuses like the person that loaded it onto the pallet was new and wasnt good with the forklift. During this process I have asked to speak with a decision maker multiple times and every time Im told by ****** the manager on site that he gave them my number and they will call - they never did. Most recently after returning the engine I called to check with ****** to see when my refund would be issued and he told me that they wouldnt be and that my warranty was voided because I filed a credit card dispute. When I told him I was going to contact BBB and Attorneys General he hung up on me. I have many more details, please dont hesitate to contact me if further information is useful. Thanks
