Absolutely terrible, I wanted four slabs on my driveway replaced okay,so when he took the blankets off after a week it was greatly flawed his response the owner I have never seen that before his fix it was to stain it (which is not what I wanted) he assured me it would look good so I said okay, this is what I have less than a year later, not only did they get concrete all over my decorative sides ,there were chips and holes in the finished job I questioned this with the owner his response I think women see things differently than men,I have reached out to him to fix this no response, I have sent photos as well no response at all

***** and his Crew left me with bad hills and valleys on an uneven pad. He blames the radiant heat install but the waves aren't even in line with the piping. They left a terrible inconsistent texture on a pad that ***** knew from the start was going to be the finished floor. They were sloppy on the hand trowels as there are mounds around every pipe and every drain cutout. They dumped leftover concrete on my cinderblock pile making a section of the pile a solid lump. They didnt bring a proper hose gun or lumber for forms. They had to use my lumber for their forms and couldnt figure out the hose gun that was already attached and working before they touched it. They didnt properly keep the concrete wet which, I am told by ***** and others, was a major component in the bad looking and feeling finish. They never returned to remove the forms, pick up their tool, or clean up. When confronted, ***** admitted the problems were avoidable offering many different possibilities as to how he messed it up and how he could avoid it in the future. Then, ***** tried to talk me out of seeing or feeling the problem. It was a surreal experience to look at something with someone and they tell you to try not to see it as a solution for it being there. I asked for a refund and what amount he would feel is fair since I didn't get what he sold me, ***** blamed everyone from my plumber, to me, to the concrete supplier and their mix. I feel ***** is dishonest. Saying whatever he could think of to avoid taking financial responsibility for his mistakes. I had multiple other professionals and amateurs look at the end product and never mentioned who did the job. If it was in fact not their fault, I don't want to be negative about him or his company. All who have seen this pad, in so many words, have said it is abnormal, with a shoddy finish, and I paid way too much for what I got.Don't let your first avoidable mistake be to hire ***** with Archaic Concrete.

******* submission here is untrue, and unfounded . It is true when ****** called me and said that there was a problem  I went right over to see what the problem was and he pointed out these areas that were in line about 3 feet long and raised up about an eighth of an inch or less in an elongated manner in the concrete. I was talking over with ****** as part of my learning process, trying to figure out anything that I may have done that would have caused this problem. These are the facts and circumstances #1 the radiant heat installer was behind on getting everything put in place or pushing it up to the last minute, just a day or two before we were going to pour. I was concerned, and even expressed my concern to ****** about whether or not, he would have it done on time, #2 after we begin pouring concrete, and I was floating the concrete with my bullfloat I found some pex radiant heat pipe, floating in the concrete, creating humps and pushing the concrete up, I stopped what I was doing went outside and brought ****** in and physically showed him as I ran my bullfloat over the area and showed ****** how it physically came back up after I floated it creating a long slightly raised hump because of the air in the pipe and not properly tied down, #3 it was at that time ****** told me the plumber that installed the radiant heat had told him that the pipes might float, #4 ****** then made the decision, and immediately began trying to tie down as much of the tubing as he could, putting in extra zip ties or wire, trying to anchor the pipe down properly. I pointed out to ****** some sections were 6 or more apart between ties. unfortunately at that point, we had already poured a little more than half of the entire pad. Unfortunately, we already had the concrete there on site. These ridges he is talking about are in line, the tools that I use on concrete are made to flatten concrete. None of the tools that I used went in a parallel direction to the doorway, the only other tool that I used in that area was a power trowel, I used a power trowel for a smooth flat finish. The power trowel is round and does not leave straight slightly raised up areas. I never blamed the concrete company for anything. I know exactly the concrete mix that I use. The mistake that I made was not checking over the radiant heat tubing and make sure it was adequately secured. but I am no plumber, or a radiant heat expert, I took for granted that the homeowner had hired a professional, and now it seems, I am being blamed for that problem. I spoke with a Professional radiant heat installer from Washington, the owner of the business and he said all the radiant heat pipes need to be secured 100% and bags of zip ties are only a few dollars so use more than you think you will need that way there is no possibility of flotation. As far as these other claims the floor is smooth to the touch, just has a different look in areas, power trowel.  I always try to clean my jobsite, did a water bottle get left behind? Possibly. ****** threatened to write a bad review If I did not give him money back. I care about my customers and I have pride in my workmanship, unfortunately, not everyone is honest.

We hired Archaic to replace our 40+ year old driveway as well as to add a new, custom patio in the backyard. They were on time, very responsive to our questions, and willing to troubleshoot with us on-site. We are very pleased with our new driveway and patio. Thank you *****!
