    I am filing a complaint in regards to excessive and unnecessary transactions at Crunch Fitness Caldwell exceeding $1200. These are charges regarding training services, the contract I signed for training was for 12 weeks of training. This began on November 28th of 2023, and the last charge was supposed to be on February 15th 2024. I requested cancellation of training through email with the head training manager in March of 2024. Despite being told that these charges would be cancelled, charges have continued for training services. These charges were stopped for the month of March, I was then charged twice in April, then twice more in July, and once at the beginning of August, with the current trend I will likely be charged again later this month (August 2024). I am hereby requesting a full refund of the overcharged services and for this business to cease the excessive charges that began in February of 2024. I am also requesting a cancellation of my membership at Crunch Fitness Caldwell. To clarify, these charges are separate from the monthly charge of $33 which has been routinely charged on the 14th of every month. I have attached documents with evidence of these overcharges, these include: payment history on my account, my member agreement, and the email conversation between myself and the head fitness manager at the location which states that these training fee charges were supposed to come to an end.

    Both the General Manager (myself) and our Fitness Manager have recently taken over for the location. No communication happened with the new management about this matter until 2 days ago while I was not at the club. I am currently in the process of submitting a refund for the complainant today. After this it will be sent to our District Manager and then billing department accordingly.

    Crunch Fitness inappropriately billed my CC for $498.00 for personal training that was not ordered or received. This charge came out of the blue more than 10 months since I last asked for this service. A letter of explaination with complete documentation is attached to the complaint.

    I have attached a copy of the members agreement showing that this agreement is not here in ********, where the complaint was sent to. Please send a complaint to the Caldwell location since this is where everything originated. Unfortunately I have no power to submit a refund or do anything with this complaint since it did not take place in the Meridian.

    I am rejecting this response because: all the Crunch Gyms are owned by the same entity Idaho Health and Fitness LLC. and it's my expectation this complaint will be forward this to an appropriate party for resolution.  The Caldwell location has proved unresponsive to call and emails. So I'd like help connecting with company leadership to resole the issue

    Mr. **** failed to cancel his training prior to billing. Due to a system error his past due balance was not charged at the initial time of the billing but later once our billing department located the issue. These were monies lawfully owed for training per the personal training contract which Mr. **** signed. This was explained to him a months ago, and he was offered to have those training sessions unexpired, or offered towards some other services with any of the local Crunch Finesses.
