Brought a tractor in to be worked on for what turned out to be a transmission issue. I have kept it extremely clean and it cosmetically looked like new with only 250 hours on it. Even the guys in the shop said they were impressed with how good it looked. I expressed my concern over keeping it that way ie please be careful. Was reassured by **** that it will be taken care of and that the guys are good about not damaging things. Get a call that the tractor is finished, go down to pick it up and they have put scratches, gouges, and chips everywhere. And I mean everywhere. The hood is now unable to close properly and the paint is chipped around the gas cap from the flexing of the metal when they forced it shut. The safety bar is a missing paint along the whole top edge. Some of the plastics are completely discolored and stained. They put a plastic cover back on my tractor that wasnt the original they took off. It was completely mismatched and in much rougher shape with the foam seal completely ripped away. There are missing ***************** that arent even connected back up to be operational. The response was basically that I need to deal with all of the scratches and gouges because thats just what happens. Super frustrated that this is the professional service I get when taking a practically **************** to Ragan. Have been in communication with the owners son, **** Ragan this whole time and after months (May to end of July) of my tractor sitting at their shop to be fixed, he owned up to the damages and put new parts on. Sounds great right? No. The parts are not original quality and he refuses to give me back my original pieces so I can just fix the damage myself. He sold them to recoup the loss for the damages they caused! To top it off, the transmission is still not right. They have a 90 day warranty that they are now refusing to honor. So I am SOL and out $3000.Dont do business with Ragan Equipment! Dishonest and negligent in their practices.
