08/26/22 we had cutting mountain process a **** pound beef that a friend of ours split in half with us.Hanging weight of 411 pounds each half. When I went to pick the meat up each half had seven small milk crates full of meat, 14 crates of meat altogether. I thought it was not enough meat when I looked at it, also the meat was not frozen when I picked it up (it had been processed for over a week) and I did say something to the owner **** ***** about the meat not being frozen .She informed me that they were having trouble with their compressor.I went ahead and paid $698.70 for a processing the both halves. We took the meat home and gave our friend his half, and they were suspicious as well.So we weighed every package individually of meat which total 331 pounds altogether.411x2 =822 pounds of hanging weight Only yielded 331 pounds of meat ?? 491 pounds of waste ??? At this point we put a stop payment on her check. We were communicating with her (*********************)trying to resolve this problem she absolutely refused to try to work with us and she was extremely rude! Today I sent her a new check for my half which was $349.35 and made a note on the check that we are still disputing these charges. Also we were quoted $.75 per pound of meat for processing and she charge does $.85 per pound of meat for processing. We purchased the beef from a local farmer for $1.600.00 she was hired for processing only.
