Most unprofessional Medical Professional My wife and I have ever experienced. He did cataract surgery on my wife's left eye. We asked him three separate times. What the cost would be. He said each time, I have done thousands of these through ******** and it will be 100% covered financially. He said if you choose the trifocal lens you will have to pay $2,500.00 for each lens out of pocket, but the whole surgery will be covered by ********. We are now being charged $8000.00 by the hospital and we paid $5000.00 for two lenses. After weeks of pressure following the botched surgery, we were refunded $2,500.00 by the Doctor. He stated repeatedly if I were you I would choose the trifocal lens. He felt it was the best fit.Following the surgery my wife can only see bright light out of the eye and the eye keeps firing bright flashes. We have seen the Doctor twice in his ************ following surgery. He treated my wife like a two year old child. He acts as though his patients are stupid. We have seen two other local Doctors in the past week and they both say the wrong lens was chosen by the doctor for her eyes condition and issues. My wife is having to have the lens removed and replaced by a different doctor. He sent us an email following the surgery at approximately 1:00 a.m. apologizing for and explaining how poor the model was he uses for his patients and sated he could understand my wife's frustrations. Finally, we were in Grange Eye Care seeing the Doctor as he exploded on my wife, he did not like the response to his question. I stood up and walked out of the meeting. I calmly said we do not need to be treated like this. I was forty feet down the hall walking out of the office as he yelled at me "BE A MAN." "COME BACK HERE AND BE A MAN." as he continued to yell at my wife I walked back to the door way standing 10 feet outside the door for my safety. He said "Get in here and sit down, be a man." What professional Doctor says things like this?
