Was paid $1000 for a small electrical job at my place of employment but never finished. Promised to finish "next week" but never showed back up. Left a big mess, and exposed wire. DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE this company for any residential projects. He over promises and never delivers. He did some sub-contracting work for a company installing a new heat pump and heard me talking about another project to install an electric kiln. As we were talking he promised me that he could get the ************* to wave the cost of upgrading the transformer so I could increase my power supply. Then he claimed he could beat any other estimate by a large margin, which his bid did come in less than others. Then the trouble started. I worked with the power company contact he set me up with, and instead of him getting them to wave the upgrade cost I was charged ~$3700 for the upgrade. Then I tried to schedule the work on my house. Four times over a month and a half we scheduled the work, and it was never done. The first scheduled time that we set up for the work he called and said he wasn't feeling well and asked to reschedule. The second time he mumbled something over the phone about he thought he had a bacteria and didn't want to expose my household to it. The third time he claimed that *********** wouldn't schedule the power shut off for the right day. The fourth time he came out I had given up hope he was ever going to show so I had another electrician out to look over the job to make a bid in case he didn't show again. When he showed up and saw I was talking to another electrician he said that it really ****** him off that I was talking to another electrician, so he was ********** after spending nearly three and a half months working with him from when we first talked to when he walked off the job nothing was ever done. His promise of getting the Idaho Power upgrade for free was a lie. I wasted 3 of my PTO days and 1 Work From Home day, as well as nearly a dozen hours moving things around in my garage the day before he was scheduled and back after he didn't show. I will say again DO NOT use this contractor for any non-commercial jobs.
