    I called empire spas to get a diagnosis on a hot tub that was included in the sale of my house. He came out that day, gave me a diagnosis and quoted me for repair. This was ****** on October 15th, 2022. The following day I decided what services I wanted him to fix and the total came to ******. He asked for payment so he could get the parts ordered. We scheduled our first appt for repair on 10/25/22. He never showed so I text him. He said oh Im so sorry the parts didnt show up so we then scheduled for 10/27/22. After he didnt show up that day and didnt return my texts I called from a different number. He seemed surprised to hear from me. I said I feel like Im getting scammed. He said oh no we are just backed up. He has continued to schedule and not show up. I have asked for refunds multiple times. I have contacted my bank and filed a claim. I would like his business to be shut down so he cant do this to anyone else. Very creepy to meet your scammer at your own house.

    Abt. August 1 2022 we contacted Calspas of ***** for a repair of our Hot tub. He gave us 2 names to call. (Dr. *** and *******) I immediately received a call from ******* of *******. He said he could fix us right up. We worked out a time and date . On August 09 a young man arrived. Said it would cost $1500.00 to diagnose and repair the Hot tub and for $2700.00 he could replace our hot tub with a new Thermaspa. Minus $500 for trade in and $500.00 for cash. We wrote out a check for $1000.00 and he said in 2 weeks our Hot tub would arrive and when it did, he would come install it. He left with the check made out to Empire Spas and didn't give us a receipt, or contract. After 2 weeks we called ******* because we believed he was ordering the spa. He said he would touch bases with *****. After 3 weeks and lots of miscommunication. ie. (******* said) *** is in *******,...then, (***** said) its in *****. We tried to work out going to see it, but ***** wasn't available to. We then asked for a refund. A week ago when I texted *****, he said he put the check in the mail. Now, it's Been 8 days and no check.We don't know if these two are in the fraud business together. I do know ******* has at least text us. Stated to us, he's lost everything over ***** doing the same to others.We are in our 70's on Social Security and raising 3 GREAT grandchildren. Can you help us?We can get a copy of the check from the bank USAA ck no ****, note: down payment if you need the proof. I am sending some of the latest text from *******.

    I gave a check for $1000.00 down pay.*** wrote out to Empire Spas.

    Requested refund in full. Over 3 weeks ago *********** with ******* said he mailed it.

    He never gave us a contract or purchase order.  He only showed us the Spas available for us to purchase on the phone.  I sent you a copy of the check made out to "Empire Spas" and in notes at the bottom says down payment for spa.

    He took the check and left.

    I have called him several times requesting our refund of the $1000.00 and he says he mailed it.  We have not received the check.
