      We contracted with Big Timber Construction, ************, ID to build an additional room and a shop/garage onto our existing house. The process began July 2020 with a down payment. Work BEGAN November 2020. Construction was COMPLETED October 2021 even though the contract said "End date November 20, 2020". In December 2021, we noticed the entire length of at least 13 siding panels was "bubbling". We contacted the contractor multiple times via phone calls and text messages and asked for this problem to be addressed. It is now September 2022 and nothing has been done to rectify the bad siding. The siding material may be faulty, but we were hoping this contractor who purchased the siding would address the problem. There were many other areas of concern, but this is the most obvious and serious. The siding looks terrible and can be seen from over 200 ft away. We paid this professional (contractor) expecting they would know what they were doing and foresee any problems. In the end, there were many "unforeseen needs" like plumbing and electrical for an additional cost to us for over $5000.00. We willingly paid out of pocket for extras we requested like flooring. We feel we were not treated with integrity or honesty or courtesy.
