What was once a decent place for physical therapy has unfortunately declined in quality. Wait times to see the therapist have become extremely long, and when you finally do get seen, you might encounter an attitude or feel dismissed when discussing your condition. If you mention an exercise isn’t working, the response can sometimes be inappropriate or unhelpful. The staff can seem insensitive to patient needs, responding unprofessionally rather than taking the time to understand patients as individuals. Joshua Tree has lost its personal touch and is no longer a place I would recommend for treatment. Be cautious if you’re seeking help for chronic pain. They sometimes proceed with treatment without necessary diagnostics like an X-ray, which could risk further harm. I had been a loyal client for two years, primarily due to the care from one particular therapist who made visits feel more like seeing a friend. I grew fond of him and trusted his care. However, when he left due to mistreatment from management and the owner, I decided to give Kevin a chance. Unfortunately, during my last visit, Kevin greeted me dismissively, asking, ‘What’s your problem now?’ The treatment was abrupt and painful. When I mentioned that the other therapist had a different approach, Kevin derisively said, ‘He’s not here anymore,’ which made me feel disregarded. There has also been noticeable turnover in support staff and techs who genuinely cared about their roles. Many dedicated employees left after weeks or months, often due to mistreatment from management and the owner. This inconsistency has affected the quality of care, as continuity and trust are essential in therapy. When key staff leave, it creates a gap in patient experience, making sessions feel less personalized. With continued mistreatment of staff and declining quality of care, Joshua Tree is no longer a reliable choice for physical therapy.
