    Dog grooming 03/28/2025. Owner of business text me this after I complained that they shaved our dog after I told them to only cut his hair slightly. His hair was 3 inches long prior to be shaved with out asking my permission. Owner text me this: Good morning. Im sorry youre unhappy. The instructions are not specific. You asked to go one length shorter and so thats what ******* did from the previous groom. Sometimes when asking for a different haircut than the first it can take some time to get it dialed in to exactly what youd like. She provided the service and offered to come fix it, so Id like you to pay us. Its in the contract you signed. Please know I have heard from multiple other groomers they will no longer groom your dogs or work with you because youre always unhappy and accusing. We gave it a shot anyway and it seems to be true. So I will be canceling all your appointments and I hope you find someone who fits your needs. My dog also has cuts on him as well. My dog has only been groomed by one other groomer. He is 9 months old. Im mostly upset at the behavior of the owners response. I take this as a threat to us that she is damaging our reputation to seek a new groomer.

    This clients dog was previously groomed February 29th and she was extremely happy (as seen in attachments) we took them in after another groomer I know fired them for awful behavior and never being happy with the haircuts. This client constantly complains. 

    On March 28th she asked for a different haircut than the first time. A new haircut takes time to perfect and she was extremely vague in her instructions. She asked for a shorter cut and no top knot. ******* did what she could as the dog was matted. Owner claims he was not matted, however we have pictures. 

    As stated in our contract that she signed in January (required of all new customers) we will not inhumanly brush out a matted dog. We will shave out the matting.  The groomer clipped this dog with a 3/8in guard. Hardly close to the 1/4 cut and bald shelve shes claiming. Which is also one length shorter than last time. Which is what the owner had asked for. 

    she was unhappy and constantly harassed my groomer and when she didnt get a response she turned to me. Having 8 years in the military I stand my ground and I do not let customers like this treat me and my employees so poorly. 

    Apparently letting her know she wasnt a good fit for us was a threat to her. As the owner I have the right to refuse or discontinue services with any clients I choose. And her family and herself further proves my point. 

    she had her husband and daughter leave my business untruthful one star reviews. Saying I demanded payment. As seen above I didnt demand anything. When ******* offered to fix what they were unhappy with they declined and they were happy when ******* brought the dog back. She left, ending services with us. They paid willingly after sending me nasty messages 
    Her daughter also left crude messages on my business page as seen in the attachments. We have no affiliation with her. And now shes lying saying her dog has cuts. Why wasnt that brought up before? Why wasnt that in the two one star reviews they left? And why dont they provide pictures of that here. 

    This client is harassing multiple people at this point because she was fired and shes upset she wont be getting a refund. Again, after she willingly paid us today March 29th.. after all of this disrespectful behavior.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
    I am only excepting this because a threat was made and those accusations of the business owner are false from her. I would not make a complaint about my dog either untrue statements. I have all the written instructions and replies from the groomer. ***** our dog is my pride and joy. He is a survivor of an illness and I take very well care of him. My family is very upset what has happen. And we have only had one groomer prior who I chose to give The Spawt mobile grooming a try because they were recommended. I dont have the health or the patience to deal with threats and bullying just because I fought for my right to make a customer complaint about my dog being shaved and cut. As for the cut I just found it yesterday because he wont stop licking it. His coat is ruined. It was 3 inches long. I directly asked for a slightly shorter trim only. Not several clipper lengths shorter. It was not a different style hair cut. Changing the story around and adding lies does not make it fact from you. But I am giving up and will move on for the sake of my health comes first and *****s coat will grow back in about 4-5 months. This is so very upsetting that a business owner can not be reasonable and look at the proof I have given.
