    I had taken my vehicle in for a differential repair on my **** ***** RX7. They then informed me that my clutch was bad and sent me a $1400 bill to replace my clutch, which I paid. Then after paying them the money for my clutch they then inform me saying hey by the way the axle stub is broke off in your differential. Fast forward a year the car has been parked ever since, I just got my differential fixed and got the car running and moving again and with less than a mile on this brand new clutch the clutch petal goes all the way to the floor and I can shift through every gear so there is a big problem within my clutch that should be brand new. I called the business to talk about the problem and got hung up on and when I tried to call back they did not answer. And wouldnt answer until I called back from a different phone number.

    ******************* car is an ***** rx7. it has a v8 engine and manual transmission swapped from a chevrolet. The car was towed to my shop. for the repair. we were asked to check to see why it was misfiring and to replace the cooling fan that he supplied, and replace the clutch. There was nothing mentioned about the rear differential. we preformed the necessary diagnosis that lead to a compression test. checked the cooling fan and discovered they were wired incorrectly. We prepared an estimate for the repairs for the entire job. *************** stated his brother and himself could do the engine repair, however the car was too low for them to fix the clutch due to the modified suspension, and he ask to repair the fan wiring. We did so. Upon disassembly we found the clutch disc was missing half of its material. upon completion of the job. we found the passenger rear stub shaft broken off in the differential. which made a test drive impossible. W did however make sure the trans would shift properly in and out of gear. We notified ************** of the problem, He asked if we could find a used differential, we checked there were none available through our suppliers. *************** said that he had some sources that he would check. we closed the repair order on 10/14/2021. The car was left here for weeks. during that period the only communication we had was concerning him picking up his car, as it was in the way for plowing and stacking snow. He said he had been working out of town, more than once after agreeing to pick it up, he finally said if we would leave it outside the his brother would get it. it took 2 weeks.The next time we heard from him he called  complaining saying that we didn't need to put a clutch in. he called several times. On 3/28/22 was given a refund of ****** issued on check #****. at that was told that we were finished with this matter. The next time we heard from him was in June 2023. He called saying that his clutch pedal goes right to the floor. The connection on the phone was poor the call dropped a couple of times, we tried calling back but couldn't get through and keep a line. then after a bit he was able to get through. he was angry and said we were had installed a mystery clutch., and had been dodging his call. I explained that we had been busy. I tried explaining that the pedal going easily to the floor would most likely be the hydraulic system, and that we did not touch the hydraulic system as it was not necessary. also that the 12 month warranty on drive train components had expired. he was angry and making threats, so i told him i was sorry we couldn't make him happy and i thought he should find some one else to work on his car.Thanked him and said good bye.
