      TL;DR They melted a hole into my suit jacket and refused to pay for it.I was a long-time customer of **********************, but I took my clothed to the dry cleaners on 17th street. Probably went there for nearly 15 years. After they closed down the *********** location, I took a nearly brand new suit in for a cleaning at the ********** location. When I first walked in, I was unimpressed with how the place looked. Dirty, door slams closed without slowing, staff seemed unimpressive. I should have gone with my gut and walked right out and found a new dry cleaner but I decided to stay loyal. I picked up the suit, days later than they promised it because they had 'equipment issues.' Then the suit jacket sat in the plastic in my closet for a few weeks while I got a hem repaired on the pants. Then I finally had a chance to wear the suit. I pulled it out of the plastic and there was a big hole melted into it. I brought it back to them, confident that they would replace the suit jacket based on their promise of integrity and honesty from their website. They took the jacket, and promised a phone call that evening from the owner. Days later I had to call in myself to check on the progress. I was talked over, shouted down, and hung up on. He claimed the hole was 'definitely a cigarette burn' and said I did it myself and they weren't responsible. No integrity, no honesty, no responsibility. I guess that they would rather lose my business, and the business of anyone I can convince to go elsewhere than take some responsibility and replace a suit jacket.
