    I forgot about my interaction with this company previously, but I do have to warn customers about this company. They do not give free estimates or apply their service fee to the work performed, if any. We were charged $140.00 just to look at a water shut off valve we wanted upgraded. Their price was justifiable so we declined. We had to pay the $140.00 just come out, they provided no written quote to justify the service fee. Beware!

    I started experiencing electrical problems in my home. Lacking experience with electrical problems I called First Call Jewel based in ***********. I called only because I recognized the company's name from local adverts. They sent an employee and I told him what was happening. He checked my main breaker box and said he would have to change out two breakers. Having completed this he said that he could find nothing else that could be wrong. Several days later the same problem happened. I called the office in *********** and he was sent out again. He checked the breaker box again but found no problems there. He told me that the next step may include opening walls to try and find where the problem could be. I declined any further work to be done by the company. Now I ask myself, was this person a licensed electrician or was he not. Poor service and for me a high price. I was charged $725 for 90 minutes of work only to be left with the same problem as before. Stay clear of this company. I wish unions were still around because someone has to be a check on the poor practices that lead to poor service and high prices from unaccountable companies. ****************
