I have worn prescription glasses for 25 years, and I have never received such poor quality service as I have with A B See Vision Care in ***********, ID. For the ten weeks I waited for new lenses to be successfully inserted into my existing frames, I have had more than one technician tell me that the poor service stems from the lab they choose to use and that I am not the only customer to be experiencing problems. On Jan. 17, I went to receive an eye exam and purchase lenses for my existing frames. Ten weeks and four visits and four failed pairs of lenses later, I still don't have new lenses and their lab lost my frames. On Jan. 30, I went to pick up my frames and new lenses. The bifocal lines were so high that the glasses were not wearable. Since I could not see, I left my frames there so that new lenses could be put in.On Feb. 15, I returned to pick up my frames and lenses. The bifocals were still not good, but at least I could see through the top portion of the lens, so I told the service technician to forgo the bifocal option and order single vision lenses, and I would wear the half working lenses while the new lenses were on order. On March 10, the new lenses came in and a technician put the lenses in my frames. The glasses did not feel quite right but the technician did what she could do, so I wore the new glasses home.Within a week one of the new lenses fell out of the frames. Nothing had ****** the frames. The technician told me that the lab had not properly beveled the lenses, and she could not get the lens to stay in either. My frames again went back to the lab. After 10 weeks, on March 28, they called to let me know that their lab had lost my frames. My primary desire with this communication is to inform the public of the risks they are taking if they order from the A B See Vision Care optical department. I also want those in charge at A B S Vision Care to find a quality, reliable lab because they have a responsibility to the public.
