Enclosed is a copy of the Rules and Regulations where it is stated that the lease is month to month and we require a 2 week vacate notice.

*************************** rented a unit from us and requested to have their payment due date moved from the 1st to the 15th. When the payment came due on the 15th they paid from the 1st to the 15th. Payment was then due from the 15th to the 15th of the following month. They said they did not have the funds and I asked if they would then like their due date to be moved back to the 1st. They requested the payment due date to then be moved back to the 1st of the month. I then moved it back to the 1st of the month and they said they would pay from the 15th to the 1st. However they then decided to move out on the 19th. I told them they are responsible to pay up to the 1st of the month and they said but they're out and I said yes but according to your lease (Rules & Regulations) you are required to give a 2 week vacate notice and so you are required to pay up to the end of the month. I was being direct and she took it as me yelling at her but I wasn't yelling I was texting and when I tried to call they never would answer. Later, she called I was calm and she was clearly irritated. I told her she will need to pay or we will send the account to collections and we negotiated for her to at least pay half. She has yet to pay half and I decided not to escalate it because ultimately we would rather have a customer leave happy. You can't please everyone, obviously it was the case in this situation. If she would have taken 5 minutes of her time to read the Rules and Regulations and take on the responsibility to pay for the time she was here lots of her problems would be gone instead she chose to feel it was a day to day lease and take advantage of accessing the facility during the 5 day grace ****** and skip out on paying the rent.
