    In Sept 2022 I placed an order for a 2 lb. bag of "food grade" diatomaceous earth at diatomaceousearth.com. They shipped it in a flimsy plastic bubble mailer. When I opened the shipping package, there was fine powder everywhere and it shot out all over the counter and into the air. (The product is unsafe for inhalation.) Since it is a food grade product meant for internal consumption, I no longer felt safe using it due to concern of contamination--there was clearly a leak in the bag. I contacted the company via the "customer service" email that they provide on their website and listed on their e-receipt, and got zero replies. I tried emailing 3 times over the course of weeks. Then I went to their ******** page and direct messaged them. STILL no reply. This company literally ignores customers and is impossible to contact them to resolve service issues. I am now out $21 (including the $7.50 I paid for their terrible shipping).
