I am writing to you on behalf of ******** to formally escalate an urgent and ongoing issue that has significantly disrupted our operations. We engaged *** with the clear expectation that your team would facilitate a compliant and efficient process for obtaining our apportioned plates. Despite months of engagement and a payment of $7,000, we have received nothing more than a packet of DOT stickers and no viable path forward to legally operate our trucks.Throughout this process, our team has acted in good faith, promptly providing all requested documentation. However, we were blamed for discrepancies in paperworkyet there was no internal review or follow-through from *** to verify whether our submissions were complete or correct. This oversight is precisely why we chose to hire a third-party expert like TCS: to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely results.Our greatest concern, however, lies in the lack of accountability and transparency. ***** ***** has refused to escalate our concerns to higher management, effectively stalling any chance at meaningful resolution. As a result, AndPower is now unable to operate legally, which directly impacts our ability to respond to natural disasters and restore powerservices that are vital to our communities and the lives of linemen who depend on our support.This breakdown is causing a catastrophic ripple effect across our partnerships with utility companies and emergency services. I contacted this company in regards to seeing if I need my dot numbers in ****** they informed I did so I spent 200 to get them after doing the classes they said I need the kansas told me I don't need them. I showed the company the the exemption I fall under for kansas. And have stoped all communication. Sorry, you had a bad experience. All the information you gave us about your vehicle and operations led us to believe you needed a ***** number. It was shown to you the reasons you still need one and upon further investigation with the state of Kansas via phone call, it was told to me that you still need the ***** number. Your compliance specialist told you that you were receiving a refund, so you know you've gotten one. It's unfortunate that you still decided to come to the BBB to solve this.

I reached out to this transportation service and they took my money and told me I would receive my DOT number within 24 to 48 hours. I never heard back from them. On 3-8-2024 I attended an art show in *****, **. I parked in a parking lot that had signs that indicated how to pay for parking. I might add that there were a few different options on how to pay. As seen in the attached document I paid using one of the options. The parking company is claiming that I didn't pay to park. I sent them the only proof that I had which was a screen shot from my bank that shows that I paid $20.45. They are now saying that the bank charge screen shot is sufficient. I have no other means to provide proof. They are trying to bill me $50 which is a bunch of BS.Business Response

I have attached the same receipt that I already provided. As a reminder, I went to an art show in *****, **. I parked in the parking lot and followed the signs on how to pay. The attached receipt is a screen shot of the payment for $20.45 from my bank. A week later I received the letter from the company that I complained about indicating that I hadn't paid. There were multiple signs in the parking lot indicating how to pay. I searched on the internet and there are lots of complaints about this company for the exact same thing that I am complaining about. Again, I will drop my complaint if they drop their attempt to collect $50 for non payment.Business Response

DOT# ******* Started out talking to ***** (***************************) paid in full 10/03/23. I was familiar with what needed to be done but had several things going on. I went with TCS because I thought it would save me time. ***** went over the services that they were going to prepare for ********. The services included - MC# and DOT# BOC-3, MC Certificate, UCR - 2023 ****, Driver File, Drug Testing, Clearing House, Policy Book, IRP, **** preparation, Fuel Card, Magnetic decals, NO fuel card. Charged ******. Denied on the 20th after discrepancy with *****. When the paperwork was ready to submit to the state of AL, ***** wanted more money and called it "Bill ***** I asked him to send me an Invoice showing services billed. No where on the invoice did it show $300 to complete the work. He refused to solve the issue.On the invoice it showed $2,986 paid in full. I asked him to send me everything prepared, I'll send it in to the State. Everything sent to ***** got returned to me. ***** said I had to go through him. However, I submitted the documents with application, submitted **** and IRP to the State. ***** of TCS basically took my money. When I brought this to his attention on the phone regarding all this, He got loud and wanted to make it sound like there was more to it and a big obstacle that only they can organize, insulting my intelligence in the process. ***** was argumentative and offensive on the phone. I believe the services I paid for where worth the *** of $1,800. NO fuel card and did not complete the **** and IRP.***** will make it look monumental, time consuming and cheat you on your money and ask for more later for no reason on a separate invoice from what you paid originally. *****'s Lead **** called on his cell phone on his way home to discuss with me the issue which went no where. Unfortunately, there is a lot of confusion for this client. After listening to the call, we determined that ************** was definitely notified that there was going to be an additional charge for what we call the Submission process for part of our services, but they only happen after our Underwriting process is complete. The client is correct when stating that he asked for an invoice of paid for services. What was sent to him was just that. Everything that was paid for. What he failed to understand, and would not listen to, was that during the phone call, he was told by ***** that there was the Submission process he would need to pay for. The $2,984 covered everything that he paid for. ************** stated that if he were to listen to the call and heard that portion that stated the $300 Submission process, he would drop this problem and move on. But, when it came time to follow up on that, the client refused, was still upset and hung up. I tried to call on my time after work, speaking for ************************************************ We agreed to call back on Monday and everything ************** stated before was not followed up on.
Our prices are set at a competitive rate and ************** fails to understand that he does not get to dictate our prices. He came to us asking for help, we followed through on our end. If ************** would like to continue business, we are more than happy to help.

I am rejecting this response because: He is a bully over this whole matter and not dealing with this in a professional manner. For example he never sent us the Fuel Card-which he charged $150.00 for on the Invoice. What we paid for was included in the $2986.00 and what you pay on the fuel card is your credit limit. I feel Our money is not being wisely disbursed. When is the fuel card going to be sent? Where is the recording like he said he would send on Friday which **** spoke to us on his cell phone while on his way home with ********** Recording. That next following business day Monday **** called around 2pm and wanted to continue arguing his point. He asked me 'if I send you the recording will you use our services'? So he is setting stipulations? I said I need to listen to the phone recording first. He got agitated with my reply and said why should I send it now. He kept talking and wanted to argue. I realized it was not going anywhere and I said good bye and hung up. I was hoping to resolve this in another way that both parties would be satisfied. The services that were done did not amount to ********. I would like to receive a billing adjustment on this matter. I am not dictating what their prices should be, however when you pay $3000.00 for services that were never completed should not be ignored.*************************

The Fuel Card was $150 total. What the client fails to understand is the $75 of it goes to the card provider. The client was unable to receive a card so $75 of it was refunded to them already. The *** IFTA Fuel Card that they were going to send me after my CREDIT DENIAL was going to be the card that you deposit funds on and your funds on the card is your credit limit. This never was completed. The Total Amount was originally $2984.00 and it has changed twice and lowered to $2945.00 on the BBB statement replies from ***. The amount that was discussed $2986.00 was what was agreed on to complete the job. The Services were not delivered. We had to go back and redo paperwork due to details being left out. ******, we have tried multiple times to clear up a simple misunderstanding. Unfortunately, every time we speak, it's difficult to explain where the problem is because you wont let anyone speak. It's as simple as this, we are calling you to get you renewed for your services. You keep stating that you renewed with us back in April. You're stating that you paid us for the renewal. We tried to help you understand that you were selected for a random drug test and you just went to some clinic and paid them for a drug test and did not follow protocol. If you would've given them the forms we sent you, you would have paid nothing to the clinic and none of this would have happened. The attachments you sent prove that. You have yet to provide payment to us for that renewal you're claiming back in April, we are not Concentra, clearly. You paid Concentra.
The three or four people you spoke with besides myself have tried to explain this to you. Again, you won't listen to us and choose to yell at us instead of understanding what happened. I even texted you last week trying to find out what you thought you paid us, but you wouldn't respond to me.
So, as a quick summary, you paid another clinic for a drug test you should not have gone to that we offered to pay for you. Also, you did not renew your drug testing with us that is supposed to be renewed every August.

i called to research and get information about possible service i will need for my business to operate my vehicle for a retail store. i didnt have any specific information. just looking for information and help with the correct way of doing things. i will have 1 vehicle( sprinter van under ****** pds) and no other drivers and i will not be carrying any hazardous waste, food, people or alcohol in or out of state lines. the rep at transportation compliance service took the information that i gave and talked me into getting the service based on incorrect information that i was just using to get help with answers. i did not have the correct information for what i really needed and he did not ask for specific information about my vehicle: tag, insurance, etc. i only gave him a VIN#. He told me another rep will call me to do a final interview before everything was processed. He sent documents to me to sign electronically to complete the processing but told me nothing will be complete until after the final interview with the other rep to make sure everything is legit and correct. After more research turns out i do not need the service because i will not have the type of truck to use this service. i looked at my bank account and they already took $800.00 before the final interview was done and will not give it back because of the incorrect information that i gave for research. I called to get a refund for service that i have not used or will not be able to you use. We were halfway through the online application for a ***** number through the government website at https://safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/ which returns a ***** number. We saw the Transportation Compliance website in a search who advertised "Get Your Free ***** Number" and "Free Consultation". They convinced us to stop the online form and fraudulently claimed that they could get the ***** number much faster than the gov't site. In fact, they simply completed the same online form with their email address, and, at at the end of a 15-minute call, charged us $1340! Then they simply forwarded the "free" ***** number to us after about 30 minutes. They are hijacking unsuspecting carriers who could easily complete an online form, making false statements about the process, and severely gouging them. We called the company for a refund and they refused, still insisting that they provided a service we could not have done ourselves. I called and verified with the US **** of Transportation that there is no way to expedite this process as they claimed and that anyone can get the ***** number within an hour for free.Business Response
