In March of 2024 my brother ***** ******(who lives in ************* and visits every few months) consigned my deceased father's golf cart with Highland Golf. It sold (we believe in August 2024) to ******* ****** for $7,000. We were owed $6300 by Highland Golf at that time. We did not receive any payment from the business despite contacting the owner numerous times by phone and in person until ***** visited him again in January of 2025 when a written agreement (of which I have a copy in my possession) was made that he would pay me $2100 per month in February, March, and April of 2025. I received one payment of $2100 in March and none since. ***** called the business a couple of weeks ago and there was no answer. I went to the business location a few days ago and the business is no longer at that location. I would like to have you, if possible, track down the business owner and help me collect the $4200 we are still owed. I have called the Idaho Secretary of State and they have no record of the business closing. I will be contacting the **************************. I have filed an online report with the *******************************. I will appreciate whatever you can do to assist me in this matter.

    Business Response

We have had and still have every intention of paying Dr. ***** ********. Unfortunately, our business had to close. Rapidly rising rental rates, and lack of production though ****** since Covid, forced us to close. We definitely want to honor our agreement and have every intention to. We are working on trying to pull together funds to do so, but we do need time and may need to make smaller payments for a longer amount of time. We sincerely apologize that it came to this. We have zero intention of turning our back on the amount owed. We will do our best to pay this amount as quickly as possible. Sadly we are close to losing our home as well and doing all we can to simply support our family, so a little ***** and patience would be very much appreciated. We will get this taken care of.
