Bought a Hubble home in May 2022. Have had an issue with a puddle in the backyard off and on since moving in! Found sprinklers were leaking, paid to fix that because Hubble refused. But still every time it rains or snow melts we get a huge puddle in our backyard. We dug a 14 ft by 4 ft hole to put the trampoline in in hopes it would help with the puddle issue. But now that's full and half our yard is a puddle! We also have a bedroom in our house that drops ***** degrees if the doors shut so no one can sleep in there! Since we bought the house new never lived in but not directly from Hubble they refuse to fix issues. The house finished in March 2022. We bought it in May 2022. Not impressed with quality or customer service.

The person who filed this complaint, *************************, purchased a resale home from the ********** Family in May of 2022. Hubble Homes built this new home, under contract for the ********** Family.Per our contract with the original purchaser, Hubble Homes does not extend coverage under our one year builders warranty to anyone but the original owner. We do not have knowledge of any negotiations, agreements, amendments, consolations, compromises or 3rd party inspections between ************* and the Eisimingers with regards to existing conditions or warranties. To the best of our knowledge, ************* should have been given the opportunity to review the warranty obligations set forth by Hubble Homes in our contract with the Eisimingers. ************* also should have been given the opportunity to purchase a 3rd party warranty on a used home. Because we were not a party of the sale of this home from the Eisimingers to *************, we can only make some assumptions of best practices by realtors, attorneys and closing companies.Hubble Homes did provide the original homeowner with a buyers home warranty that is transferable to a subsequent owner. This warranty is handled by a 3rd party, not by Hubble Homes. The current homeowner should be able to protect their home with the transferable buyers warranty that Hubble Homes purchased for the original owner by filling out transfer paperwork and paying the associated fee. That warranty provides mechanical distribution system coverage (supply/waste piping, ductwork and electrical wiring) for two years, and structural coverage (beams, posts, columns, loadbearing walls, floor and roof systems as well as the foundation) up to year 10.If there are further questions, or the current owner needs any information on the 3rd party warranty, they are more than welcome to contact us.Thanks,*********************** Warranty and ***************** Manager e *********************************** o************** p**************

Started a home build process with Hubble in December, picked out everything we wanted from the ground up for the home. Had our friends send us photos since we live out of state and we saw the home next door was the same exact color scheme of our home. Hubble verbally told us that wasn’t allowed but went ahead and painted it the same without telling us the neighbors house was the same color. When we asked to change it they accused us of selecting that color knowing the neighbors had it. The finally agreed to change the paint and then painted it incorrectly. Finally was able to go see the house in person yesterday and Hubble had installed a different style heating system in our home due to material shortages. They told us it would go through the walls instead of the attic. They failed to tell us that this new style would place 5 horizontal vents going across the middle our living room wall! Even the Hubble representative said it looked awful. We asked Hubble to fix it because it was a deal breaker and they blatantly said no. They said our home was a priority, but the date keeps getting pushed back months and we are the only unfinished house on the street and houses on the next block are further along than ours! So now we have to deal with this eye sore in our dream home or we are out 10 thousand dollars. Really let down by Hubble’s customer service.

The Devitos did close on their new Hubble Home in November 2022. Some of the concerns they had (exterior paint) were addressed by our construction team in the field prior to the home being completed. The Devitos also utilized a 3rd party home inspector. We do our best to ensure that houses next door to, or across the street from each other dont end up with the same elevations and paint selections, but in some cases affected by street layouts it becomes impossible to avoid. Many builders use the exact same siding, trim and roof colors within the same neighborhood to cut down on costs and to avoid this type of conflict. The Hubble Homes Director of Construction, ******** Manager and Senior Project Manager/Training Officer met with the Devitos at their home shortly after their closing to discuss the issues they brought up that happened during their build. The meeting went exceptionally well and the Devitos thanked us for listening to their concerns. The **** system installed in this home utilizes small diameter ductwork that stays within the conditioned air space of the building envelope instead of running the ductwork through a cold attic where it can lose up to 20% of its heating energy. This system has exceeded both Energy Star and HERs requirements, and outperformed conventional systems in every region of the US. This new type of system, called ****, is now used by most of the top 10 homebuilders in the US. We realize that some of these new features do look and operate differently than typical systems that have been used for years. We look forward to working with the Devitos to insure compliance with our high level of quality standards through our warranty program and hope they love their Hubble Home for many years to come.
